To be fair these kind of games happened last week city gone from winning 2 up to bottling the lead and Foden scoring last minute to win.

The difference city got that experience we don't if we dropped points today would have hurt us more than any game we dropped points at this season. If you want win league the winnable games you have to win them
The game happens. But what happened the 2 minutes before their goal don’t happen to champions. Backing off and defending deeper by choice just like Sunderland. Even against Burnley after 80 minutes we just dropped deep and they suddenly started to attack us. Champions don’t do this

Dropping deep like that and conceding is one of the several reasons we drew so many games last season too. And we're doing it again this season too.

You can back off and still control things by maybe stop everytime have the ball we kick it back to them? we back off and our players just keep giving it back our captain also instead of bringing ball down and start counter he hoofing it in middle of pitch. Our players seem just s**t themselves anytime we do this.

We have a week off so can put a rested and strong team out against Everton.

That might be the last game we have to play with no Gabriel and Havertz. There’s light at the end of the tunnel.

Thought about this before too, hopefully back to full strength soon. Can they squeeze in Dubai trip?

It's so weird that we have so many people on here that apparently know what needs to be done

If only the sheer number of these people translated to the amount needed to advise the government/ man all the posts in the UK needed to stop it being so broken

Something is not adding up

I dont get the conservative play argument. We went balls to the walls against Villa and is one of the main reasons the game panned out the way it did and we lost points.

There is just something off with this team and I think thats fair to say, given whats happened the past few seasons and the way we're playing right now and what just nearly happened, we've seen this before so I think being concerned is legitimate.

As I said before I do still think we win, but i think we will make it a lot closer and a lot more difficult than needed to be just through a few poor decisions on our part, rather than somewhere else (I.e. last season with injuries and refs).

I think the injuries to Gabriel and then Saliba are the main reason for our drop in form. For the rest of the team, playing a game without those 2 must be similar to how the Greeks felt going into battle without Achilles. You can sense and see the nervousness when we are under pressure or the opposition enjoys a sustained spell of possession because the team no longer has the same level of confidence in its ability to not concede. We really need Gabriel back to restore that belief and defensive assurance and we could also do with his knack for scoring critical winning goals.

I am sure we will drop point with hincapie at centre back when we lead with small margin 1-0 like against fulham away, newcastle away & palace home

I am not try to bully hincapie but i just speaking fact

We've really missed Gabriel. Can't help but think he pops up on a set piece and we get an extra couple of points from some of our recent fixtures. We're also a bit more leaky at the back.

Need to go back to basics, get your most technical players on the pitch, more Trossard/Jesus/ Merino, less Martinelli/ Gyokeres.

Yep I wonder if it’s because he doesn’t trust our back line right now.

Sensational. They’re gonna look absolutely Championship level without them. The problem is, it gives them an excuse to go full Brexit at home whereas usually they’d be more adventurous.

With the way we are building up right now that may play into their hands. We are currently playing like last season’s form.

They are losing 3 small technical players and replacing them with McNeil, Alcaraz and Dibbling. All 3 bigger and stronger. It’s hardly good news. Sit and counter and wait for set piece
