True but they had Foden and Reinjders at 8; that's different to Rodri, Gonzalez and Bernardo/Lewis
Idk how many more times I have to say, Rodri cant get around the pitch anymore. First off, he was never really THAT mobile. He looks geriatric now. Rice would ****ing eat him alive in the midfield.

If this season hasn't taught everyone that there are no real easy games in this current version of the prem, nothing will. Absolutely useless trying to look forward at schedules and try to predict where points could be dropped. Anything can happen on any given matchday with this much talent on every single team. One game at a time til we mathematically win it is the philosophy.

Nah, that's not true. We're not top of the league due to midfield dominance. The only midfield battle we won against a top 6 side this season was Villa home.

Rodri was class yesterday, especially first half. Not fully back to his best, but showed his importance
What are you talking about!? City were absolute **** yesterday. That game was much more about Liverpool absolutely capitulating than any City player being a standout performer. 1st half City were ok, but they were nonexistent the second half. Liverpool could've scored 3.

I always had this in my head but didn’t know if it was fact or a rough judgement.

If you lose 6 games or more, you won’t win the PL?

I checked back to The Invincible's 03/04, it has actually happened 3 times in that 23 yr period.

City 20/21
City 13/14
Chelsea 09/10

This season City have lost 5, Arsenal 3. City to play Chelsea away, Arsenal & Villa home. Even if they don’t lose any more games, they will drop points. It’s ours to lose, and that’s the best position to be in.

Honestly 10 wins will do it. Win all our homes and 3 away and were golden.
It's the home games that concern me. In 22/23 - bottled it against CIty and Southampton at home. In 23/24 - it was Villa. This season - we dropped points to United and Liverpool at home.

Thats nuts. Was watching this and the lad interviewing him was talking about how many things Arteta had implemented to try to improve the atmosphere at the Emirates and Arteta still thinks theres a long way to go but his comment about wanting the fans to feel like theyre a part of something cause theyre contributing with energy and encouragement when the team needs it seems like a salient point. He makes it very clear that its important to really back the team when things seem most difficult.

It's the anxiety in the players not to f*** up or disappoint the fans that tense up our play in this kind of situation. Especially big games somehow being away lessen the pressure of expectation.

Yh well that's why he's better balanced paired with Lewis or Gonzales. Rice will never reach Rodri level

Liverpool had a 25 minute spell where the game opened up and they created chances. But overall, City were the better side with more possession, higher xG and greater cohesion.

I’m sure we will drop points but so will City. They ain’t better than us and our lead gives us the buffer we need for mistakes while they need to be near perfect which isn’t going to happen based on what we have seen this season. Whatever bad results we have they will match and probably more.

It worries me that Sp**s will have a 11 day rest for the debry whilst the Derby for us will be our fourth game in 10 days.

He is going to rotate pretty much every player against Wigan so most of the starters will have 6 days rest between Brentford and Wolves.
Go back and look at how he’s been treating cup games this season.

There will be some rotation but there will definitely be key players starting

I don't need to look at every game, I can just look at the Portsmouth one which was a higher level of opposition and an early stage of a competition. Pretty much full rotation. Gabriel had to play because Mosquera, Hincapie and Calafiori were injured. They're all fit now.

You should be more worried that we have now won there something like 100 times in a row. Unprecedented in football history. I don't like those numbers.

We made 10 changes against a Championship team. Why wouldn't we do the same against a League One team fighting relegation? How we line up against Chelsea in a semi final isn't the norm.

Not being able to beat city manu, liverpool home and away would be bad enough but if we lose to Sp**s in addition to this, then we shouldnt be thinking of the title anyway

Arsenal Quotes

When I am asked why I stayed at Arsenal so long.. my answer is simple; I never wanted to be anywhere else. I could have earned a lot more elsewhere, but that wouldn't compensate for all the good years at Highbury.
