Good thing this City side are rubbish and will drop points in their next few games. They've been extremely unconvincing and they look very beatable.
This is why I'm still calm and confident. People acting like City will win every game from here on out. I don't see it.

Newcastle
Leeds
West Ham
Chelsea
Arsenal of course
Everton
Brentford
Bournemouth
Villa

All feel like could take points off them.

By the end of that run in there are no easy games at all everybody is competing for qualification or avoiding relegation.

I'm gonna say something that people may not like but here goes.

Firstly, I think we do have to acknowledge that we're in a fantastic position still, and credit to the players and Arteta for that overall.

But in terms of comparing point gaps, I just don't care about the points gap in other leagues, or that Liverpool and Forest were "decent/good" results because we still maintained a good gap.

This season we are the team that has the settled manager, we've stacked the squad and we've had the momentum with City faltering and Liverpool nowhere near.

I've wanted us to seize the league, to put it in a "chokehold" so to speak. To do something like what Liverpool did in 19/20 when they were completely out of sight by like March (bear in mind, the season ended late).

By matchweek 25 Liverpool were 22 points ahead (with equal games played). Keep in mind, that's on the back of only missing out on the league by 1 point the season before. Also that was their first title in around 30 years; they didn't let that prevent them from sh!tting all over the PL.

Now look, 22 points ahead is a tall order, I'm not asking for that, but I want us to be that team that wins at Forest, that doesn't fkin lose after controlling the game against United, that looks at Brentford, acknowledges that they are a great team, then proceeds to backhand them to remind them that we are the biggest, baddest wolf in these lands.

F*ck City, City are sh!t this season, so what if we're doing reasonably better than them, I want us to be running away with it.

Anyway, we are still at the top, so there's no sense in getting overly upset, it's just frustrating, because I don't care about what's "good", I want us to be snatching all of the points because we are great.
This what I’m talking about right here. We’ve come second 3 times in a row… would you know it from how we’re going about the league this season? We should be storming this ****ing league. We should have the biggest chip on our shoulder. I guess Im disappointed knowing that's not the case. Lets just get this one over the line by whatever means necessary. Maybe we can continue building for future dominance.

Asking not because I expect it or want it (this season) but what would be the sentiment here if City got hit with their charges tonight and - whatever the outcome - it took them out of the race entirely. Happy or somewhat disappointed? (From an Arsenal perspective only)
Everyone will say we had it handed over to us. Heck, I know I'd say that.

Man, that Utd home game broke me. The performance, the manner in which we lost haunts me. I just don't think we have it in US to win the league. It's all down to Arteta and his playing style and also his eye for selecting the attacking talent in the transfer windows. We have very less time to course correct and play a different style. All the players are burnt out trying to play this way , and it's inviting too much pressure. Add on top of it the pressure of being hunted by city again. Next few games will see this team completely collapse and not win anything this year. I wish Arteta goes back to the drawing board and even watch Peps team on how to setup a to score goals consistently and ease up on this fetish about micromanaging every movement of our players inside our own box. It's an unpredictable game , that's why we have giant killers in fa cups. Be brave, take more chances in the final third, some tactics about shooting more and creative interplay s to unlock defense, rather than passing it all the way back to Raya to retain possession of the ball from our wingers to cbs to gk ffs. Watching this team struggle to unlock defenses is a real chore.

Not going to get over the line looking over our shoulders.

Four points ahead in the box seat and bar Merino no long term injuries at present.

Previous Arsenal title wins it's mid Feb and we have had dropped some poor results like this draws mainly. Then a good run to the finish line, embrace the challenge ahead.

Going to need a clutch player to get on a run be it Saka or someone else, but the forward line has to click that's on Arteta. No point end of May and having regrets, the ball down and play it faster, way to much static possession based play, it's stifling us.

If they keep on persisting by benching Eze who is a player which offer us something els then we only have ourselves to blame. because Martinelli or Trossard are not the creativity we are looking for. but we need to find a way with Eze.

I've only just seen this. Exactly what I thought: grab the point and get out of there! We could have easily lost that game. Put it behind us and move on! Onwards and upwards!

It doesn’t even feel like we’ve scored 90 goals this season. That’s only 1 less than the overrated 2015/16, in which our fans love glazing, scored all season 🤣

90 goals scored and 26 conceded. +64 GD in February is crazy tbf. Is there a chance we get 85-90 by the end of the season ? Anyone knows what’s the highest GD in club history ? 2023-24 was +70 but has there been a season higher than that ?

Most of those players were injured, at the same time. Finishing second was an achievement. Only Cech and Bellerin wouldn't get into the current side, Imo.
You’re talking absolute rubbish. So mertesacker and Koscielny would get over Saliba and Gabriel ? Coquelin over Rice 😂😂

Your nostalgia bias is off the charts

Arsenal Quotes

When we won the league at Tottenham, they came back 2-2 in the last-minute of the game, and they're celebrating - because they're happy to draw against us, obviously. And I remember saying to Mauricio Tarricco who injured himself celebrating in front of me: "Do you realise we only need a point to be Champions?" And he was utterly shocked. So I said "Yes. Now watch as we're going to celebrate on your pitch. Bye bye!"
