I think if we win 5 games it's 98%. I can't see this City team with the strength of the league not dropping points.

We lost 3 games all season and I don't think we lose 3 in the last 8. So let's say we win 5, draw 2, lose 1. We get 84 points so even if City win 7 and draw 2 they are on 83 points.

If we win 4 games, draw 2, lose 2 than it will get tight. We have 81 points and it might be enough for City with 6 wins and 3 draws.
We are so fuucking close. I think 3 wins would be even enough in the last 7:
  • 3 W - 2 D - 2 L = 81
  • City would need: 6 W - 2 D = 81
We really should win against Burnley, Fullham and Crystal Palace. Now I would agree that we just can bottle it.

Let's see against Chelsea, if they draw that game and against us, then for sure 81 would be enough. However if they win both Chelsea, Palace and Us, then I don't see them losing any points of the remaining 5, especially when they are out of CL tomorrow and only have the league and FA cup to play for (after the league cup final).

For me, I think the league is done as I really can’t see us losing games (draw for sure but I can’t see a L) from here on out. It would take something I think only Pellegrini’s Citeh side have done before to overturn a gap like that with 7 remaining.

Worst case scenario:

Arsenal still win the league by a point. We finish on 84 points and City have 83 😂

If we win our remaining games before face City no way they will win against us cant wait to play a ugly low block and frustrate them just like they are doing against us now. Just focus on our level and we will get it done.

The next two game weeks are pivotal.

We have the advantage of playing Bournemouth before City play Chelsea, & if we win, that extends our lead to 12 points, which will put enormous pressure on City to get the win at Chelsea. I have a feeling they will drop points there.

The City game is massive, a literal 6 pointer, & we have to go there to win. A win there would be a pretty decisive victory in the title race for us.

Go there to win & we can say to those smug tw*ts....

Looking at the average ratings of the players from how everyone voted, it correspond to the eye test. Hincapie, Gabriel by far our best performers this season.

Ødegaard and Saka can do better. Madueke....

@albakos does it means the rest of the players are rated lower than 5.36? 😲

If we beat Bournemouth and City don't beat Chelsea surely it's over. That's potentially an 8/9 point gap (I'm assuming City will beat Palace). Chelsea are going to be desperate to win as they are neck and neck with Liverpool for that 5th spot.

The avg ratings for the players in this season are not as accurate, simply due to the time when user based player ratings started here.

It was in late January when Predictor along with features like MOTM/player rankings were introduced.

For matches before, all players have single ratings per match, so it provides a cumulative calculation across the whole season. The problem is that those single ratings are higher (based on Livescore ratings) than the average that we have here, e.g. Martinelli having a rating of 9 for a CL match, while I bet the avg rating here would not be as high.

When we start next season from Day 1, the ratings will be as accurate as the player performance across the whole season.

Starting to think winning at City is actually massively important for us. If we can take a win at home to Bournemouth and then City (even a draw would be huge tbh) we can put the league to bed early and rotate in the EPL to focus on other competitions.

What a time to be alive.

a 90th minute dagger from MLS would be too perfect here, then he asks Haaland who he is before celebrating with the away fans
