I've been saying it for months, but it's still a game at a time. It's not the time to be getting giddy.

It's nice to have things in our own hands again but the only focus should be on the next game. It's imperative we stay totally focused.

Any game can be a banana skin if we don't perform to standard, see the Wolves match.

I had Bournemouth on highest chances to nick something from City. Everton less than that and Brentford on a outside chances. AV and CP not so much.

It means City already lost points with having their most difficult game in the run in yet to be played.

Wow wow wow!

Bournemouth game will come with just 2 days of rest for them after the FA Cup Final vs Chelsea and it will be a 3rd game in 6 days for them.

I believed all season that we'd win the league but after the Etihad, I must admit to being shaken in that belief to the point where only hope remained. It just felt like the script we'd all seen before was beginning to play out again before our eyes...

Obviously still a lot of work to be done to get this over the line but we cannot deny how significant last night's result was for us. Should be a cracking atmosphere tonight and hopefully a win and the prospect of our first UCL final in 20 years will carry us through to the end in the league.

Time to lock in and navigate the final twists and turns. It's not won until it's won and that game on Sunday is going to be a rollercoaster; of that I'm sure. A different kind of pressure on us now and not the kind we seem to deal with well but let's pray the players are better prepared this time around.

COME ON YOU GUNNERS.

I don't seem to share everyone's confidence re the goal difference.

For it to be a factor City would have to win their game in hand, and win 1 at the expense of us drawing 1 of ours (both teams would then need to match results on the remaining 2 games). So if we did win 2 and draw 1, that would be 2 games of us adding to our tally. But to catch us, City would need to win all 4 games, meaning 2 extra games of adding to theirs. I don't think it's beyond them that they could make up the 4 goal difference.

I think (hope) we treat the Burnley game as a chance to properly add to the GD though.
I agree. If it comes to GD I`d make City slight favorites. Lets say we beat Burnley and Palace with three goals in total (could be more obviously). I would say it`s likely that City make up seven goals in the four games they would win.

Yesterday but obviously a great result but that equaliser still annoys me. If they lost City would have needed West Ham to beat us, now they may only need a draw.

I think you’re making a bit of a big deal over something quite minor.

that headline reads as negative for city, salvage especially means getting something from a bad situation so I don’t see the problem.

Its not that big a deal. I made a post that took me maximum 15 seconds

I'm just noticing the rhetoric, do you really think this would be the headline if we drew 3-3 at Everton in similar circumstances? What about if we drew 3-3 to Fulham a few days back? We'd be told not to celebrate draws, we'd be told its a huge dent in title race etc. And the headline here would reflect that.

When you have won as much as they done, you get constantly benefit of doubt. They deserve to get better language than us. Also that goal was huge as they needed us to lose to be back, but now only a draw

Just had our record away to West Ham checked

Last 11 matches there, 2 losses, 4 draws, 5 wins. Not too bad but potential banana skin.
Record means nothing. Look what Everton's record was against City prior to yesterday and how nobody gave them a hope in hell of getting anything from that match. In the end they battered City and were combination of poor finishing, a big defensive error and Michael Oliver heroics away from winning. If we go there and play with freedom, the match will be over at half time. If we don't, we'll potentially bottle the league. It's entirely down to our mentality on the day.

The fixtures are tougher on City. They have 2 teams in Bournemouth and Brentford who are going to play their hearts to seal up European football, which would be huge successes in the history of their clubs. West Ham is only team we play that is fighting relegations that has anything to play for and they aren’t in relegation battle because they got a lot of quality. Plus they play an FA cup final against Chelsea 3 days before their road trip to Bournemouth

Finally all it boils down to, as it has in the past few years is.

Does Saka have 450 minutes left in his legs.

saka is probably the best arsenal player of the emirates era, i must admit now. Better than Xhaka
