I was comparing our fixtures vs City and the only way we can be crowned Champions at home is if City drop points vs Brentford and then we beat both West Ham + Burnley. Small chance but unlikely as I think City will beat Brentford.

Imagine we announced something and ended up trophyless

I think clubs need to plan for these eventualities weeks in advance, but it gets leaked and makes the club look like idiots of it doesn't come off.

Who can remember the picture of the branded buses being shared around after 1 of the cup final defeats?

I fecked up, my wife pushed me weeks ago which weekend we should book flights for so gambled on the weekend of the last league game. I did warn her though any Champions League final qualification would delay that by a week.

PL social media drawing comparisons between these but Haaland doesn't hit the same at all. Rice has a look of gritted determination when he says it. Haaland looks dejected and like he doesn't even believe what he's saying. "We're still here" also sounds a lot more meek in comparison.

If anything, we should have dumped it a lot earlier.

I honestly thought the team was capable of handling 3 or 4 trophy hunts but the Carabao cup & FA cup just turned out to be completely wasted efforts.

Arteta should look to strategically rotate through the remaining PL games to keep players as fresh as possible while securing 3 points each time.

The players' conditioning by the end of the season will determine whether we add the CL trophy to the PL one.

We're playing 1 game a week, I don't think rotation is gonna be necessary any more.

In any case if we lose the UCL but win the PL, will the parade still be on that day? I guess it can't be after Palace anymore?

Imagine being PSG. Just need to focus on CL as everything else is wrapped up by christmas.

PL clubs may soon start to prioritize the PL and CL in alternative seasons
I know we shouldn't scoff at the fa cup, our favorite trophy. But being out of it is actually good now. 1 game per week for both PL and CL suits us perfectly.

The game against WHU will be tougher then we think, they are playing, battling to avoid relegation considering Sp**s won their previous game. We just can't afford to take the remaining games lightly because we playing 3 remaining games all against bottom 6 teams, City have a few tougher games and the pressure is on them now.

We've got to start all games fast like we did against Fulham, a few 1st half goals without equalisers. I wouldn't care if we just play slower like we did 2nd half against Fulham with a 2/3. A 1 goal lead we can't afford to just rest & control possession, 2-3 goal lead is better & might allow us to score on the counter backend of the games. If Arteta didn't play slow & just get a draw due to silly gameplay against Wolves twice the title would probably already be ours. Burnley game he can't do the same thing.
People may mock us for saying but I really think the Wolves loss was due to the conditions and injuries. The weather was bad so we couldn't really play our normal game then things got nervy at the end. 9 times out of ten we would have smashed them, this was just the one off bad luck outlier. (Which can always happen in football and is why the race is not quite over.) But we are in the driving seat and all things being equal should prevail.

Arsenal Quotes

I believe the target of anything in life should be to do it so well that it becomes an art.
When you read some books they are fantastic, the writer touches something in you that you know you would not have brought out of yourself. He makes you discover something interesting in your life.
If you are living like an animal, what is the point of living? What makes daily life interesting is that we try to transform it to something that is close to art. And football is like that.
