There’s a lot of talk about losses in this thread (4 for Liverpool and 3 for City) so just to give some context to that, here’s how the champions have ended their league campaign over the last 6 seasons:

24/25: [Liverpool] 25 wins, 4 losses, 84 points 2.2 PPG 66% win rate

23/24: [City] 28 wins, 3 losses, 91 points 2.4 PPG 74% win rate

22/23: [City] 28 wins, 5 losses, 89 points 2.3 PPG 74% win rate

21/22: [City] 29 wins, 3 losses, 93 points 2.4 PPG 76% win rate

20/21: [City] 27 wins, 6 losses, 86 points 2.3 PPG 71% win rate

19/20: [Liverpool] 32 wins, 3 losses, 99 points 2.6 PPG 84% win rate

After 10 games we currently have:

Arsenal: 8 wins, 1 loss, 2.5 PPG, 80% win rate.

Liverpool: 6 wins, 4 losses, 1.8 PPG, 60% win rate

City: 6 wins, 3 losses, 1.9 PPG, 60% win rate

Please correct me if anything is off, this was a quick search.

At 10 games in, this looks tricky to match for both of them while we look to be nicely on target. 28 wins, 3 losses and ~ 2.3 PPG looks to be a good target
I'm guessing some of those losses were after the team had secured the league

Yes I agree PGMOL are stupid and idiotic
agree pgmol part of thatand i cannot deny that but you also have to remember that we still have a lot time to score goal to avoid drop point

also partey play at right back last season cost us a lot, we barely get 3 points when everytime he play at right back even we draw 2-2 against villa at home after lead 2-0

It is a very tough place to play I would not be surprised if they ambush a couple of top sides there this season they won’t be easy to breakdown either

Sure, but it's funny seeing people expecting results away against big 6 sides and at the same time being afraid of Sunderland.

A team going for the title should win against a newly promoted team, I really don't care how they've started the season. We have a complete squad, I don't want to hear any excuses.

Yeah. The 23/24 season gives me Hope. The way we ended that season was prime City-esque.
first half of the season in 23/24 really poor, we dropped a lot point because of arteta put havertz at midfield

also our squad depth really poor in attack

btw remember last season we dropped 21 points from winning position & that is absolutely stupidity idiotic worst performance as big club who want to win major trophy
This season we haven't even conceded after scoring. The longer this goes on, the more our opponent essentially give up after we score.

Ideal scenario, we win and City-Liverpool a draw.
8 and 9 points in front is what I want going into the international break.

Afterwards, we have
Sp**s (H)
Chelsea (A)
Brentford (H)
Villa (A)
Wolves (H)

9/9 for the home games, at least 2/6 for the away games.

City has
Newcastle (A)
Leeds (H)
Fulham (A)
Sunderland (H)
Palace (A)
I also think they will get 11/18

Liverpool
Forrest (H)
West Ham (A)
Sunderland (H)
Leeds (A)
Brighton (H)

That will be a 18/18

So by mid december, we would be 5 clear of Liverpool and 8 clear of City. That is my prediction if off course we win against Sunderland and Liverpool does not win against City.

I think at any point if we go 10pts clear of any or both of city of pool it's over. That's not being arrogant or over confident, cause I'm highly sceptical that will even happen. And as long as it stays less than that I'll be nervous about the lead slowly been whittled away.
However I am more confident that once we're in a position similar to 2022/23, the much improved defence, much improved squad and experience and leadership in the group now should mean there's no similar capitulation.
Question is as well , come 2nd half of the season are liverpool and man city capable of going on any sort of winning run as before.

I think City's team is more dangerous than Liverpool. So either a draw or Liverpool win is the best imo.
Haaland is Haaland and they have the best shot stopper in the world. Their defense is a bit better as well.
Pool are a mess, their attack might click , but defensively and in midfield they are light. I think Slot trying to integrate the most expensive players in the Prem , will cost them big time. Their team with Isak, Wirtz and the two new fullbacks is a lot worse. No chemistry whatsoever.

We also have a tougher run after the international break, but having Madueke, Ødegaard and Havertz will be key to keep our forwards fresh and to have something extra from the bench.

I know I’m doing that thing where I change history but purely hypothetically: I wonder how much we would fancy our chances of doing another invincible season right now had we not conceded that 100/1 free kick against Liverpool. I’m glad we don’t have that hanging over us to be honest as think it would cause more harm than good.

I don’t think we will go the rest of the season unbeaten, just wonder how much we would be talking about it if we were still in a position for it to be possible. With how few goals we have conceded so far, especially since it would only be 2 without that goal, probably couldn’t rule it out

Well if Liverpool have some special rules where they are able to get 18 points from a run of 5 games, they might actually be able to cause us some problems
No need to worry. Feel we can probably get 21 points in that same run of 5 games.
