LiverpooI needed to lose tonight for us to have a chance. But that chance would have been tiny anyway since we have a lot of injuries and a dumb manager. It's more likely that we will finish 3rd than 1st. We will beat Leicester but after that i can see us struggle a lot.

This.
They’re basically playing their strongest team every week, no injuries to their top players.
How many games have they been without Salah, Diaz, Van Dijk, Gravenberch, etc?
Van Dijk has played all minutes so far (24x90=2160), Salah has played 30 minutes less, Gravenberch 100 minutes less

Seriously, though, Jones was properly fighting him, not just the 'hold me back, hold me back' stuff you usually see. I was wondering why actual police officers had got involved and not just stewards :lol:

He should get a long ban for it to be honest, guy was swinging out there. Luckily his aim is awful though

Tbf that was us last season. The difference is just the level of competition. We were unlucky to have City in full flow, Liverpool are lucky to have this broken City and an injured Arsenal.

That’s the Slot we know. Really nice and charismatic when things are going well but turns into a really unpleasant person when the pressure gets to him
I would have liked to see his reaction if he had twice players send off for delaying restarts or penalty given against them for accidental head clash where the ball was won. Or the shenanigans at St. James' Park 2 seasons ago.

@Riou is this true?

I was about to mention this. Man Utd escaped with just a 1 point deduction, despite being in the same 'brawl'.

Paul Merson singing "Stick your two points up your arse" outside Islington Town Hall at the champions parade at the end of the season 😂

As we know, these kinds of punishment are only reserved for Arsenal though.

Yep. He was such a ***** in my Football Manager save with Miguel Arsheta. He'd always be criticising me and saying I'm no big deal when I pumped him 4-0.

Arne Slot has been my enemy ever since.

Arsenal Quotes

I often relive those 49 undefeated matches. I do believe in signs to a certain extent, and as I was born in 1949, I sometimes tell myself it was our destiny to lose the 50th. Those 49 matches are etched within me and within each player: it is something fundamental, a triumph born out of passion.
