Did he? Was there for a few months, finished 13th, and then left in the summer due to the financial situation.

He did no better than any of the other managers Wolves have had in recent years. I don't see anyone in a hurry to appoint Gary O'Neil or Lage. Even Nuno who regularly finished in the top 10 with them isn't someone West Ham or most other teams would go after.

Rather than fix the issues with VAR they’re now hiding behind ‘referees call’ and just letting clear penalties go.

I’ve already seen about 3 definite penalties not given in the league this season because VAR are trying to give more power to incompetent referees.

That’s hardly a big call considering there are only 3 decent top teams in the league, the rest are dross.

That’s true, Sp**s almost finished top 4 last season and they’re terrible.

The problem is mediocre players cost too much now, guys like Rice, Enzo and Caicedo going for 100m+ is nuts.

This is the worst thing with VAR. It's either a foul or it's not. The way they use VAR is to judge how badly the ref got it wrong instead of what actually happened.
