What Everton are lacking to be a real threat is an actual striker that can score goals. Neither Barry nor Beto look good enough.
Ndiaye has been by fair their best goalscorer so far this year.

A real striker flanked by Grealish and Ndiaye and they could be really dangerous.

Sunderland will be in a mid-low block vs us next week. No chance they're this open.
Yes and we’re losing an attacker every game. Merino up front here. Sigh. Just seen and our closest challengers city have an entirely fit squad. We can’t have nice things.

We have our entire squad bar Jesus back after the next break. Relax.

Hardly guesswork. It's been reported for a long time now. City have had Marmoush, Cherki Rodri and Stones out too for a period.
Not officially it hasn’t been. Arteta said he was hopeful a couple of them would return, even then he was cagey. So yes, possible with any luck, but guesswork.

Sunderland have been really good since the first 20 minutes. Going to be a tough place Saturday..

Granit would be the best midfielder at about 16 clubs in the league, amazing bit of business by Sunderland to get him.

For me, so far this season, Xhaka has been one of the 4 best performing CMs in the league with Rice, Zubimendi and Anderson. Then they are followed by the likes of Szoboszlai, Wharton, Tonali, Fernandes, and Caciedo.

Is this true?

Match of the day did a good analysis on this.

City overloaded the midfield meaning one of the Bournemouth CBs would have to step up to mark the spare city midfielder. As soon as that happened Haaland would run into the space vacated by the CB.

High risk high reward but you only need it to work once to get a 1v1.

Part of why we struggle to feed our striker is because we attack down the sides to minimise risk.
