Tell you what, seeing those City MF players trying to sprint back into shape was hilarious, they are used to camping in the other half, had Chelsea been that much more composed on counters, they would be out of sight. Arteta has our players in shape and we are by far and away the most physical team in the world.

Joao Pedro is a useless lump, took a battering ram of Delap to have a focal point and occupy their defenders (remind you of someone close to home?)

Dont want to be THAT guy, but we have been here before albeit this is a better squad/weaker opp, we need to be focused, its only 6 points with just half the season gone, we also have to go theirs and to Sp**s who would want to dent our hopes. On the other hand, we need a statement win against a wilting Pool and deliver the KO.

If Gvardiol is out for a while their already weak backline will suffer, he's their best and also contributes at the other end. Haaland is spent and they have no natural CF to rotate. Overall they lack the physicality that helps us win games when our technical side is off, and Gvardiol is a big part.

This should be a shot in the arm for the lads and kick on.
Berta is the signing of the season. We just seamlessly kept going inspite of the usual workload and injuries. Its like the second coming of David Dein

Yeh I agree that its a big result today because we extend the gap but it also shows that this isnt the city people told us they are, they are prone to dropping points, they cant put together a 10 game winning streak anymore.

I think its our league to lose. Its Arsenal vs Arsenal, for me. We have to hold our nerve.
Posted after their Sunderland result and Im gonna say it again. Theyre supposed to be in full swing, at this stage of the season but theyre vulnerable.

Still processing that Wirtz goal when watching a recap of the games.

“I was sure it was offside so I didn't even celebrate," Wirtz told Sky Sports.
"I felt the same. Many people inside the stadium felt the same," said Silva

Still a weird one. Won’t be surprised if PGMOL say something about it later.

Credit the ownership as well. Putting the money up for extensions and transfers. All you need to do is look at Sullivan and Enic pocketing the extra cash they get at West Ham and Sp**s.

Money is a given. Without money no one challenges for things anymore. Everyone has money to spend. This ownership actually starved us of money for years till they got full control of the club and only recently have started to spend at the level a club like ours should. So no, i dont give them any credit.

I give credit to the guy who spent the money so astutely..each and every signing has been a hit. All of the signings were completed professionally and with minimal fuss. They anticipated the needs very well and planned and bought well. We all felt surprised when Hincapie was signed, but look how vital he is now.

I honestly didn't watch because I thought city will comfortably win but from people reaction here seem he missed open goal
Neto didn't have to miss an open goal to have an awful game.He ****ed up every attack slowing it down to eventually pass it back or lose it.Didnt think chelsea ll get anythng but was still watching and was worth it in the end.Our players should be charged up to face liverpool let's win this ****ing league.

Our players imo need to be calm and don't rush everything the game at Bournemouth was unnecessary tense and they made errors. Hopefully with slim lead they'll be more relaxed

Just saw highlight of City vs Chelsea - what a bonus. Looked like City could have been out of sight after 1st half and then Chelsea missed some sitters in 2nd half.

How has Palmer gone a whole calendar year with zero open play goals and somehow wormed his way into the FIFA World XI over Raphina? This is the white privilege they talk about in the Bible. Fairs, Saka hasn't scored much either, but his performances have generally been good. I can't say the same for the Iceman. Palmer was terrible today, and if it weren't for his ties to City, I'd question whether he was throwing the match on purpose. He needs to get his act together ahead of the World Cup because Bellingham and Rogers are competing for the no.10 spot.

Have you seen Palmer's grandpa ? Palmer is lightskin, not white.

A lot of the guys on A-M alarmingly hyping City and putting down Arsenal at every chance they get are still stuck with the old dominant city in their head, and I presume they have actually not paid attention to City play this season. Do you know what it means for a whole City to concede 4 goals to Fulham in a single game? Quite absurd really.

When Arteta talked about how he was getting calls from all and sundry about our dominance over City at home, many were mocking him. But if you watched that game you'll see the stark reality of what current City truly is without Haaland, and why a number of us said they were nowhere near Arsenal's quality this season. When you stop being reactionary on game by game basis and look at things with more nuance, you can see patterns that give you better perspective on events unfolding.

By the way, Brighton will most likely give them a hard time in their next game because fatigue is gradually setting in, due to the lack of proper rest playing every 2 - 3 days, and like Pep said, they ain't got no players on the bench.

I won't be surprised if we're 10pts clear by the end of January. I still reiterate that we're winning the league by a wide margin.
