It has no likes

We could limp to the title and some could say they’ve seen enough to suggest Arteta should still go.

And you’re saying that’s a mental take? It’s really not. It will never happen but it’s not mental to have that opinion.
Given how City are ramping up towards the end of the season - any title win for us won't be limping to the finish line - we will have to significantly up our game to see it out.

Isn’t that a fake quote?
Either way who gives a ****, our current manager spent years at Man City as Peps cone boy, just to come here and still be his *****.
If Cesc wants to come here and build his redemption arc by leading us to trophies, while playing attractive football then I’m cool with it!

It would be a great way to effectively sew up the title, prove his haters wrong, and immediately dispel all this bottling talk.

I always talk about him having chances to prove he’s that guy and next week + whatever he does in the CL could pretty much erase (even though it shouldn’t lol) all the bad we’ve seen and define his entire legacy here.
Yeah. In a way it’s kinda poetic he gets a chance after 6 years to show what he’s made of one last time. He has never won at City or Liverpool. In fact as poor as Chelsea was under Arteta we have never got an away win against a team of Chelsea calibre as convincing as City got today. Always felt he goes into every tough away game with too much caution instead of saying we better than you and gonna steamroll you

But again he can shut up a lot of people on Sunday

Viktor, I don't care about that.

I meant if the matter of Tets being sacked if we win nothing was true

I've said it before & I'll say it again. Cesc left 15 years ago!! I was never bitter about it then & certainly could care less now.

If he comes here & wins titles, those who feel animosity towards him will see it as an act of redemption for him.

I’ll actually have more respect for him if he goes there next week, tries to win the game and prove a point.
That said you just know he’s fuming he can’t play a Rice, Zubi, Merino midfield next week, the spineless gimp!

It goes unnoticed how big of a bottle job that United one was, arguably the greatest in PL history but it was overshadowed by how Aguero won it. Helps that they also won the titles before and after that.

Biggest bottle job of all time has to be Real Madrid in 2003/04. 8 point lead with 12 games to go and they ended up 4th having lost 6 of their last 7. And that's Zidane, Ronaldo, Figo, Beckham and co.

Agreed and I think it remains to be seen. Every single time he’s had a chance to prove himself whether that be the top 4 race where we fell short or these title challenges it’s always nearly.

All these previous experiences have damaged us as a fanbase lol if this was any big club (Real Madrid, Barcelona or whoever else) they’d back themselves in this position.

That is totally inaccurate, they probably won the title the year before or the year after that year, they wasn’t waiting 20 ****ing years 💀
They also constantly won CL after CL
Stop trying to deflect that we are by far the biggest bottlers of all time in any sport and rival fans are gonna have a field day and we are gonna be (and already are) the biggest laughing stock of the premier league, spineless weak cowards is what we are, genuine pussies. I can’t actually believe we are going to bottle the league after being top for 95% of it. It’s actually embarrassing as fcuk

Wingers are rubbish, no need to overthink it.
What's there to over think? It's quite obvious that teams have more money across the league than ever before, so they invest in better players and defenders while also being way more organised where every team in the league has a structured press, and structured low blocks, mid blocks and high blocks. This means it's harder now to impact the game as an individual because players get quickly crowded out. That's not withstanding that players are stronger athletically.

I mean this is your average PL defender back in the day ffs.

The same club that is about to get relegated has a World Cup winner and the fastest defender in the world. It's night and day.

Arsenal Quotes

I often relive those 49 undefeated matches. I do believe in signs to a certain extent, and as I was born in 1949, I sometimes tell myself it was our destiny to lose the 50th. Those 49 matches are etched within me and within each player: it is something fundamental, a triumph born out of passion.
