God willing, we do it this time in a more emphatic way & avoid a slog like the last time round.

Our season will once again hinge on the pillars of our team:

Rice, Saliba, Raya, Saka (in no particular order).

I genuinely don't think there's anybody out there who we can sign that would come anywhere near the impact that those 4 have unless you're talking about Vini, Mbappe, Kvara, Olise level players and they are just not available (as far as I can see).

All of those guys except Raya have some serious injury concerns heading into the season. I want to see these guys play for us at something close to 100% so I am happy to start slowly and give Saliba, Rice + Saka the time they need to get themselves truly ready.

We still putting Olise in those conversations I see...

I'm super excited to see what our Hale End boys in MLS, Nwaneri, Dowman, and Salmon have for us to start the season. They are all going to be critical (well maybe not Salmon) to help us ticking along while the likes of Rice, Saliba, Saka are on ice.

We need a full squad and full use of it. Keep Ethan and Nørgaard were gonna need the full lot. I wanna see more of Max and hopefully Dixon might get some game time too. This WC is a massive problem for us and the league.

I normally wait until our business has finished, but looking at the managerial merry go round and the squads around us.. it has to be a surprise package to better our points total I think.

We’ve become really good at churning results even at our worst.

Even with all of the fitness question marks and the underwhelming start to the transfer window, we threw away so many points in the 2nd half of the season due to the psychological weight of trying to get over the line that I think our point tally might be nearer to a floor for us this season than a ceiling. We won't have those nerves that we saw from Christmas on to contend with and that's huge. If we do some good business and Rice, Saka and Saliba aren't perma crocked, I think we wrap it up early like we should have last season.

I have to hold out for signings and injury news

We absolutely killed our players to win the title and go deep in all 4 comps. We can't know how they recover and get back to form.

The other question mark is if the second half of the season performances is lack of ability or nerves.

Dont expect anything less than a top 2 finish at worst, though I think we'll win the league. I think we'll sign a couple of key players that will help us out, I think Ødegaard, Kai, and Max will develop a very nice relationship as we start off the season once Arteta figures out there's only so much bullshit one can take sticking with Madueke as the undisputed starter, and I think Rice will be his imperial best again after about a month of rest once the season begins.

Not answering this till the end of the window Clifton

We could sign no-one and still win the title imo.

We ended up beating baldy Pep by 7 points with the second most injuries in the league despite him spending a gazillion dollars in January and getting Guehi + Semenyo and having that Cyborg up front.
