Likewise, not sure we’ll encounter another maniac like him in the PL. Look at the stare he gives the tactics board at 0.27 as if it’s HT.

I don’t think Maresca has much for us especially as they’ve lost experience in their side in Rodri and Bernardo too.

Then he needs to ensure we're not in a position where we're relying on Martinelli for any extended period and go get a LW that can at a minimum keep Tzolis on his toes.

We ask 26 BBC Sport football pundits to predict who will win the 2026-27 Premier League title, and which clubs will finish in the top four.

Crazy that the season starts tomorrow, and it looks like we’re the only settled team in the top six, apart from maybe United.

Our squad is settled, and our midfield is by far the strongest now with Bruno G and MLS. The defense looks like the strongest in the league as well, with Saliba being the only real concern. The attack looks pretty much the same, but I’m hoping Saka and Ødegaard come back strong, and I’d love to see more of Dowman this season.

United are the only other top-six team with the same coach, although he’s only been there for half a year. I think they’ve made some smart additions, but we’ll have to see how they handle European football and starting 11 quality could be better.

Chelsea probably have the biggest squad ever, plus a good coach, and they’ve added some good players like Rogers and Lacroix. But let’s see how Xabi manages a squad of 40 young players.

City have lost Pep, Rodri, Bernardo Silva, Stones, Reijnders and maybe Marmoush. Are they planning for the Championship?

Liverpool have a new coach, and I think he’s a good one, but I guess he’ll need some time. They’ve also lost Salah, Konaté and Robertson, plus the injured Bradley, Ekitike and Gomez. I expect them to go for Barcola, and I’m quite sure Wirtz will be much better this season.

Tottenham have added some really good players, and with that squad and no European football, I think they’ll fight for a top-four spot. But I don’t see them challenging for the title.

Newcastle and Aston Villa, two teams against whom we’ve lost so many points over the years, basically have completely new squads. It’ll be interesting to see how quickly they come together.

And I’m really wondering if one of Brighton, Bournemouth or Brentford can make a serious push for a Champions League place.

Honestly, I can’t wait...

Yeah, if we can dial it back to the 23/24 season brand of football where we were scoring for fun after the mid season break, it will make things a lot easier* !

*For us fans too. Way too many one nil wins last season. I think the fan base collectively aged ten years last season
