Very frustrating that city got given that goal but they did play very well when down to ten men. I think it will be a close fought battle for the title this season.

This is kind of crazy that Ballard tried to do the exact same thing he did to Konsa again last night in their Europa game, where it's even in the exact same position and everything.
This time it didn't even get a second look from the refs.

These guys are clearly practicing this dirty move and I can only imagine the football world meltdown if an Arsenal player did this. And the fact that so many people were arguing it's a stone wall pen and "Arsenal deserve it" is embarrassing.

4-1. Same record as last season after the first five games, isn't it?
We got 10 points last season. We played Man utd, Liverpool away and City home.

I'm okay we got 12/15 from Villa, Sunderland and Brighton away while playing Chelsea at home. If we got another 12/15 from the next 5, we will be on 24/30 on course of 90 point season.

People need to chill out, in this league going unbeaten is impossible. We had an off-day and deserved to lose. However if I know one thing, Arteta will be extremely pissed and we go on another run from here.

Weird thing to say but I'm almost relieved to have lost this game. To retain the title is extremely hard and this game hopefully gives a wake up call to our players.

Not to mention hopefully our fans will realise how hard this challenge will be instead of thinking we could go unbeaten this season. Or that we would walk this league. All this talk of us winning the league being a foregone conclusion was getting on my nerves. Not only did that downplay our achievement but it is never that easy. If it was why haven't so many teams managed to retain their title?

Anyway it is important not to go too far to the other side now. It will be hard but we can do it. Just need to regroup and go again after the international break.

Nothing to worry much, just 1 bad game and scoreline made it look worse. We'll soon be back on top.

Not only that, if we went on a run without a loss, the pressure of unbeaten season would make sure that we would drop to more controlled games and thus more draws.

And you think Arteta will throw away his "control" and start to attack more just because we have lost a game?

If anything it will be further more control so we don't get thrashed again

No Arteta will be fumed and wake up the team. Today we were very sloppy and could not get out of the press of Brighton. He will find an answer to that and by the time we play another team who presses this high, we would have an answer.
