If I see the same cluelessness vs Bournemouth with moving the ball to the final 3rd and lack of interplay between our forwards, I will 100 percent give up on us “clicking” and actually playing any sort of solid football the rest of the season. At that point, I will fully prepare myself for a grind with every single ****ing game left, because that’s likely what we’ll get. The time away during the internationals was the break and restart that we needed. If you can’t get it fixed in 3 weeks of rest and mental planning, then you simply cannot get it done anymore, it’s all grind and grit from now on, strap in

Want to see this team. Think we will do the job despite the jinx game week 32 tag.

Raya
White Saliba Gabriel Calafiori
Rice Zubimendi
Madueke Havertz left winger
Gyokeres

Wouldn't risk Dowman here yet for another game, think the team is good enough to get 3 points.

I have the same team in my mind. Probably Martinelli will start ( and disappoint ) because of his good cameo in the CL. I think Saka, Timber and Eze will not even be in the squad. If they are close to returning , they will be given a bit more time and have some minutes vs Sporting at home and then be ready for the Emptyhad.

I would make sure they are fully injury free, don't rush them back at all even for Ettihad. We can afford a draw there and a defensive masterclass this time for real.

We need a fit Timber, Hincapie and Eze for the semi finals. We have a supreme chance of making our first final since 2006

I am most worried about right back. If we can have Timber for Citeh, I would be more relaxed for a potential defensive masterclass. Cala also seems a worse defender than Hincapie although the Carabao final was one of Hincapies worst games.
Eze is really important right now especially because Ødegaard is in the slumps. It's such a shame as he really started to feel this team and get comfortable. We know these months are his strongest so this injury comes at a really frustrating time. Calf injuries also can be really stubborn. It's not a given he returns and it won't trouble him anymore.
We also need Saka to be healthy and step up after such a disappointing season from him.

Calafiori defensively has been very good this season. I don't think he's any worse than Hincapié in defending + he just offers so much more in possession. He's crucial and needs to play every game imo.

I got nervous even reading the thread 😂 this is such a big game.

We’ve had a weird couple weeks following incredible league results.

I pray we can win this game. It will be really big with City going to Chelsea.

Don't hate the player. It's not his fault he is playing despite being so poor for 2.5 years now.

Not cool to wish injury on any player too, let alone an Arsenal player.

Ødegaard and Saka is 2 of our highest profile player but stats don't lie. We have played well and better when they are missing this year.
I'm sure none of us hope harm on any Gooner.

God forbid anyone would want Arteta to stub his toe first thing in the morning. To go downstairs and get a paper cut from opening the mail. To spill some coffee and scald himself. To slip on a banana peel. To drive off to work and get a flat tyre so hitches a ride, and gets picked up by Bovver. Bovver of the once famous GSE. Who proceeds to slice his face with a Glasgow smile. To arrive at Colney late and hope to receive a warm welcome from Win the dog who instead bites him, so has to get a rabies shot, but even worse, also receives a covid booster. Heads home wanting comfort and intimacy with his wife who gives him the cold shoulder treatment and strenuously explains she won't put out for him for the next 10 months.

No, no, no. I'm sure no one would ever dream of thinking up such scenarios

Frankly no. I'd rather those who dreamt up those scenarios trip in front of a bus.

Arsenal Quotes

In a football match anything can happen, the players, 90 minutes, fantastic moves, an element of luck, talent, courage, and touch of magic and, for those who are watching these men play, the search for excitement, for a memory, for a lesson in life.
