For me, we pussied out of the liverpool game. We couldn’t hold on against sunderland. We couldnt win against 10 men Chelsea. We couldnt hold on against Villa. And now this. Very worrying.

You need players who can pass between the lines and you need to be able to do it on both sides of the pitch. This was THE game where you have Ødegaard and Eze and Trossard and MLS overloading the midfield and playing in tight spaces. Rice who didn't play midweek shots behind and mops everything up and takes corners when we get them.

This isn't a new thing. Feel like Arteta repeatedly plays in to conservativ e a way against this situation

Wolves put us under pressure for all of 3 minutes the whole game and they scored a goal. I have concerns about our nerve.

We bottled it against Villa and we almost did the same again.

I have to say this isn't from the players it's from the manager.

This doesn't happen to a Klopp, Pep, Ferguson or Mourinho, Conte Team.

But it consistently happens to an Arteta team.

He's a micro manager and like most micro managers they suffer from anxiety and want to control things even more. That nervous energy feeds in to the team.

Sorry to say, but Ødegaard is the epitomise that energy on the pitch. At the end when we needed control he offered nothing.

That we struggle against deep defences is not some revelation to be had from this game. It has been known by PL teams since last season. We do not play through the central areas under Arteta, so teams funnel us to the channels and try to prevent wide overloads. It is always going to be a gamble to score with this approach and totally depends on the form and ingenuity of our players on the day.

Hadn't read AM all day and I came to complain about arteta's game management but some of you are insane, calling for his firing today over a bad (terrible even) game Drama queening to another level today

Dude, this is happening year on year, always falling short at the line. But the biggest thing people are moaning rightly about is why do we cede possession after going up? Wolves had 75% for the 10 mins leading to the goal.
