No, like I said, when you’re at the top everyone’s playing to a high level. Of the starting back 4 (and starters overall), he has been one of the shakiest. That doesn’t make him terrible. As you’ve pointed out, our defence is still generally top, top tier.

Alright, fair enough. I agree with that. I am kind of surprised they aren’t targeting Califiori defensively, but maybe that’s up to their personnel. It is a big moment for Saliba to prove that targeting him is to their detriment. But I’d also agree with a Mosq sub from Arteta.

Tbf Brobbey is a unit whenever I’ve watched them this season, he’s been ragdolling plenty of CB’s in the PL. Dias, Romero, VVD and most others have had a tough time 1 vs 1 with him.

Yeah but until Diarra forced the yellow all he was doing was grabbing Saliba's shirt and falling down complaining to the ref. At any rate, I'm not sure why Gabriel isn't the one man marking him as the stronger of the 2 CBs.

Brobbey had such a weird career the guy wasn't even good enough in the Dutch League but is now playing at a much higher level just because he's built like a brick ****house

Wasn’t he very highly rated during those Ajax academy years? I remember there was a video where Cole Palmer and a few others were saying he’s one of the best players they played against.

Had a ridiculous good goalscoring level in their youth set up.
