Football could learn something from NHL and the way players get stats and how they are rated. Gyökeres 2nd goal is because of Martineli doing all the hard work - Gyökeres only needs to keep onside and tap it in. All the cameras during the celebrations are on Gyökeres eventhough Martineli's is 100% responsiblr for the goal
Haha gyok haters are too funny. Lol

Missed the whole second half cuz of family commitments, so happy to see Gyökeres score a brace, good goals?
He was falling over for both goals lol. Though tbf for the second one the Sunderland player made a cynical late tackle to try to stop him. Anyway this will do so much for his confidence. He is on a roll now. Btw he could have had hattrick if Nelli squared to him with the last kick of the game instead of going for goal. We were struggling attacking wise until Martinelli and Gyok came on. They absolutely terrorised their defence. Martinelli in particular turned into prime Neymar.

Win our next two and at the very least we'll be 12 clear of Man City but they'll have a game in hand.

How did you come to this conclusion ? 🤔

City play tomorrow, then we both play in the next match week.

We play Wolves on 18th Feb, which will give them a game in hand but it's a bit of a reach to say we will be 12 points ahead by then.

I mean it's possible, but highly unlikely tbh.

I'm the biggest Arsenal and Arteta defender. Today showed how good we are. Average performance 3-0 win. Need Saka and Ode back to close this out.
Ødegaard had three goal involvements in his last 60 or so minutes before getting hurt and people still want to pretend he’s a problem. And Saka is our best forward, period.

We’re only going to be better when they are back.

I would still prefer Saka over Noni, but I'd have Kai instead of Ode every time.
But when saka plays everything gets funneled to him, The ball goes to him and then he gets crowded out or takes a nothing shot. Holds on to the ball too long these days and the opposition have figured it out.

Yeh sorry, I forgot to type IF man city lose but even if they draw we can go 11 ahead if we beat Brentford and Wolves and Man City draw tomorrow and beat Fulham.

I would like to see us start the cup games without saka - ode - rice and play nice and fluid passing game. The new signings are really showing up now and just NorseGuard is left. Let him show us what he can do. Has been really good whenever he got minutes specially impressive in his forward passsing

I am sooo happy man. That was a tough and tense game. Our quality was too much for them in the end. Great to see Gyok finally settling in. He is getting much better as the weeks go by. Love his mentality to never give up and keep plodding on.

The commentator in the first half was waxing lyrical about Bryan Brobbey pinning defenders and making himself a nuisance. Well, our guy Gyokeres has been doing that all season but gets criticiised for not scoring enough. Well take that Mr Commentator....

Saliba was great at the back and him and Gabriel handled Brobbey very well which isn't easy. Rice in midfield was very commanding and tactically very good.. Love this squad we got tat the moment., So many options to change things tactically and keep the opposition thinking.

Over to you Liverpool.

Arsenal Quotes

I often relive those 49 undefeated matches. I do believe in signs to a certain extent, and as I was born in 1949, I sometimes tell myself it was our destiny to lose the 50th. Those 49 matches are etched within me and within each player: it is something fundamental, a triumph born out of passion.
