This is really massive. A win is a must imo. These sort of games, performance usually matters. It's the results that matter.

Arteta will have to learn from his mistakes at Old Trafford. We know the sort of threat Sp**s carry. Their midfield is dogshit. They have Royal, Sanchez, Dier and Sessengnon in their back five.

They'll put 10 men behind the ball and wait for a chink to appear in our amour and they'll exploit it ruthlessly and Son has just come back to form right in time for the derby.

We should have all our players back for this (save for Elneny) barring an injuries in the international break.

Lineup

I think it will be the same lineup vs Brentford tbh.

Dead cert Kane gets his usual penalty goal against us. Other then that I am confident as team is playing well and our record at home against them is great
Well up to our players to not make dumb decisions. We haven't lost against Sp**s at home since 2010.

Conte has a **** record against us too, never even won until last season I think.

Need a statement win here, couple injuries to their key players would be great too.

We can't consider ourselves title contenders we need to be realistic and if we arrive to halfway of season in similar positions at this point you can say yes we can achieve something special but not after 7 games bit premature still people can dream

Think his league winning Chelsea team beat us 3-0 at stamford bridge in 16/17.

Conte away from home against top teams style is predictable he'll tell his players to work hard defend and defend strongly and hit teams on counters. Everyone knows that.

All about being ruthless tomorrow Sp**s concede goals they aren't very solid at the back.

Pessimistic about the outcome of this one but I'll be cheering on the boys in red n white as always.

Come on you Gunners!
How so? We smashed them at home last year, in first half anyway, and that was before we had Jesus, Zinchenko and Saliba. Easy 2-0 win.

screw title contention. enough with this silly notion that "getting ahead of ourselves" and apparently looking delusional in front of rival fans or cynical gooners matters or will actually change the result of the match. enough with the forced humility already. live in the moment, take this form as far as it can go and give them hell. we'll have more than enough opportunities to slag each other off for misplaced optimism afterward if things go pear shaped. but not now. it's not like we're facing bayern with a trophy on the line ffs.

Feeling pessimistic for this one. Think the way the two teams naturally set up favours Sp**s, and Arteta has struggled to deliver results historically in these big fixtures. Hoping some lessons were learned from the United fixture, but we shall see.

What if Citeh drop points, we win and then we go on to beat them? Do we become contenders if we open up a six point gap? People spent months laughing at Leicester... until it was too late.

Yup, agree there is a chance in ten months time we could be Premiership Champions.

There is also a chance in ten months time I could be in a polyamorous relationship with Salma Hayek, Aubrey Plaza, Gillian Anderson & Alia Shawkat

Anything is possible.

Don’t know why there’s pessimism about us winning the league. Leicester had a freak season. 38 games really isn’t that many data points to get a true reading of the best team every year. Leicester were sh!t the season before and the season after, which proves the anomaly.

It could happen.

Let's talk again after the Sp**s and Liverpool games...

The key to the game is whether we will have enough to overcome Son’s diving and the officials cheating.
