last season everyone was crediting Jesus and Zinchenko for giving us winning mentality. Here we are in our best form and neither of them had a part to play.
It’s all Arteta.

Not all Arteta, but he has a big part to play.

The foundation is there, and now the cohesion as well. The players are now showing the winning mentality, by playing well together and having confidence.

Seems like next 2 games we can just chill and watch either Pool or City drop points, good times

Jesus and Zinchenko are some of the biggest fannies in the squad. Don’t want them involved when the pressure is high.

Kept on saying over & over those two lucked into a situations where our players matured & they just rode the coattails of the actual stars. But no a striker who wasn’t starting even when city didn’t have any other striker & a lb they tried to sell for years because he couldn’t defend made us great apparently

Yep, agree with you there.

Our improvement year by year is down to maturing, gelling, growing and evolving as a team and Arteta is a massive part of it. It’s not down to signings or any players in particular, aside from getting rid of dead wood who were dragging us down such as Holding.
