Predicted Lineup

Prediction
Arsenal 2-0 Sp**s

From the Fighting ****

Roll on Fulham at home. Write this one off...

Are we even going to be able to put out a semi decent xi? ****ing injury after injury. Can't see anything other than a loss. Nobody is going to step up for this.

I take it this is away .
Won’t be pleasant at all. Will be pretty much camped in our own half most of the game . A lot of sideways and backwards passing going absolutely nowhere . There will be no shots on target. If we do manage to score it will be from a set piece. It will be a standard Sp**s visit to the emirates
Thankfully I will be at a butlins weekender so I won’t be watching

See this is a free hit. We're the underdogs, nobody expects us to win, so no need to be nervous. If we lose, it was expected.

I ****ing hate them all so much on a personal level and I've never met any of them.

What I wouldn't give for an ugly 0-2 VDV & Romero and Palhinha slides in fiercely on the sideline and catches that **** Arteta "by accident"

I can’t lie. I’m not looking forward to this game at all.

I wouldn’t mind trying to postpone it. Make up some bullshit reason just to piss them off because they can’t ****ing wait for this.

Hope half of their players come back from the International break with long-term injuries.

COYS.

Any points we can take off them is huge.

I noticed we are 8/1 for the victory .I will definitely chuck £20 at that!!! COYS.

We've got a good away record but it's Woolwich. I never really believed that the form book goes out the window for a derby.

Don't do anything stupid like we did for Utd's first goal, and try to limit the amount of corners and free kicks they get and we could get something out of this if luck is on our side. But I don't think we have the physicality that Sunderland did.

Feels like so long since we've shown up against them now.

Playing away probably increases the chance of a result from 5% to 10% so there's that.

Just make it tough for them. It’s been super frustrating watching them go for the title for the last 3 seasons, makes things even worse that we’ve been gifted wrapping them 6 points each season in that time.

Just haven’t been making it anywhere near difficult enough for them.

At this moment in time if we come out of the game with enough fit players to field a team in the next game and not get a hammering it will be a result.

Thank god it’s Sunday and not early Saturday after international break. Those games tend to be terrible. We should beat them at home. Same team as Sunderland except gyok if he’s fit enough
With the small 'g' over there, your tag line could just come true... but then again, your 'god' could be your dog or bed, who knows!
Here's to hoping the Almighty comes through for the good guys.

Weird. Given their away form, I’d rather play them at their sordid grief hole of a stadium right now.
I agree, but also, they have won once in what 19 years there?
Spuddies definitely have some kind of curse, that if they have a bad record, it just continues and continues. Look at Chelsea, they hardly beat them anymore, especially away.
Anfield they **** the bed and Newcastle they do too.

I'm going into this one extremely confident as should everyone else. I also think they are top of the list of giving away goals by their own errors, so we should easily beat them.

Prediction - 2-3 Sp**s probably now hahaha

Not feeling great about this fixture

I wasn't too fussed about dropping points at Sunderland as I fully felt a draw reflected the 90 minutes, however the longer time has gone on the consequences of us losing here and potentially only being a point in front is giving my PTSD on how the squad will deal with that!

Really could have done with a few of the injured attackers getting some minutes before the internationals, and the fact they didn't even get 5 shows me they are going to be touch and go for Sp**s

We are absolutely more than capable of beating these convincingly, and my head is telling that our players know exactly how much this game means and will put on a performance. It's the fact they are getting results away from home, Frank has a reasonable record against us for a team fighting relegation most seasons, particularly good at getting his teams to attack and defend set pieces, and they will absolutely be putting 10 men behind the ball

We need variation, and options off the bench to tire them out, so really hope that the rumoured behind closed door friendly actually happens, even just to have players to come on for the final 30 to give us runners 🙏

Sorry what ? We absolutely battered them in second half we totally deserved to win that game IMO but credit to Sunderland they fought hard till the end

For this lot i expect them to be tight at the back and try to punish us on the break, but they will not be able to withstand that stance all game and they will crack under our pressure, 2-0 to the Arsenal

This will be a very boring game. Sp**s will play with a back 5 and just sit and defend. We not the greatest at breaking teams down

Yeah from about min 50 to Trossard's goal we could have easily put 4 past Sunderland. It was a clinic. We would have been thoroughly deserved winners. That being said, Sunderland also deserved their point for taking the game to us in a way that really hasn't been done by any side this season so far. I mean you even had Pep's City desperately clinging on to a 0-1 with a double decker bus against us. So two things can be true at once here imo.

How well we do really depends on us and how our players come out of the interlull. We will probably have to change half our back 4 due to injuries but we'll hopefully have some forwards fit. I think Ode will be a week short but if we can keep everyone fit, move the ball quickly and be super clinical, then we should win. It won't be easy but this is a match where I'd like to batter the opposition.

Sunderland, Man Utd and Athletic Club the only teams to properly come at us this season.

The decline of the Brazil NT is encapsulated perfectly by Richarlison being their 9.

£60m Sp**s paid but it was all Levy’s fault

Arsenal Quotes

A team can attack for too long. The most opportune time for scoring is immediately after repelling an attack, because opponents are then strung out in the wrong half of the field. All the men are expected to play to plan, but not so as to stifle individuality
