Watching Jesus huff and puff but ultimately look still a shadow of the player he was, all with those terrible looking braids...he got me remembering what he once was the first home game v this lot in 2022...

Sigh, what could have been...

Vardy is gonna inevitably score vs us though.

Since Gabriel has showed up, Vardy has scored 1 goal in 6 games v us, (the same amount Gabriel has scored against Leicester in that time lol)

While since Saliba has showed up Jamie has lost both games, barely had a kick and never scored.

He's a quality player of course, but it's much easier to constantly bag against Arsenal when playing against Mustafi and Holding every game than what we have now.

Like Chelsea fans saying how Drogba used to terrorize us like he's dominating against prime Campbell-Adams every week, guys he's up against Senderos so lets relax a little here lads...Henry used to regularly score against Desailiy and Terry at his peak for us though, we go for the big players at Arsenal as our club actually is a proper one 🤷‍♂️

I think the team will be

Raya
White Salina Gabriel Calafiore
Havertz Partey Rice
Saka Jesus Martinelli
Yeah I wouldn't be averse to playing Kai in midfield for this one & giving Jesus a go upfront again.

Like it or not, he's (Jesus) with us for the season so we need him to be playing with confidence & getting into form. He needs opportunities.

Only other change for me would be Sterling in for Nelli.

Leicester fan here.

Obviously you're going to teabag us.

Cooper will set up with 8 defensive players and invite you on from the start. We've conceded first in every game bar Palace, which we tossed off from 2-0 up due to him making defensive subs and inviting pressure with no outlet.

He's benching our best performers from last year, the players have not found any cohesiveness and we make constant individual errors to lose possession. Every game has yielded at least one half of the worst performances we've seen since the death throes of Brendan Rodgers. Rumours are emerging of a player revolt and the body language this season on the pitch does seem to support that.

Given that it is very hard to see anything other than a comprehensive defeat, I hope that you smash 6 or 7 past us so that maybe our board will own up to their mistake and sack the clown after we lose to Bournemouth at home the following week.

For what it's worth I'd rather see you win the league than City again. We won't stand in your way.

United...with Fergie shagging all the refs, fu3k no!
Blackburn...first sugardaddy team, no!
Chelsea...scummiest club on earth, no!
City...just lol!
Liverpool...1 Covid title, no!

This game marks the only match in Prem history, with the only two proper title winning clubs in Prem history...Arsenal's Invincible vintage of 2004, with Leicester's fairytale of 2016.

If you use with your heart then Leicester's title is the best, but use your brain and there is only one winner...

This game also marked the end of ITV holding the highlights rights with "The Premiership", as it went back to the BBC...which when compared with "Match of the Day" the ITV show is in my opinion, a superior football show, with a superior theme song and most importantly...

...had superior league champions!

Jezus, Nwaneri, Sterling, Jorginho, Lewis-Skelly, Kiwior, White, Neto.

Some natural rotations on both sides. I want to see more of this use of our left side, we've seen in our so called lesser games. The sooner we bring that attacking balance back, the better.

Later on, lets bring on Jezus and Sterling to give our forwards an early break.

Lets put in a strong performance, which includes a clean sheet.

After the media attention on us and us being a defensive team, I see Arteta really letting the shackles off

I'd quite like to see Sterling start, Martinelli has given us huge amount of work defensively lately and it's not to be sniffed at when you look at 7pts from 9, but offensively he isn't the player he was, and I wonder if the best approach for him is to start coming off the bench against tired defenders to get his confidence back, the player is still there, but his confidence in the final third looks so far from the player 2 years ago

Sterling looked sharp, and he'll be very much up for making a claim for a starting spot, and Jesus just didn't do enough last night to warrant him being ahead of Havertz

In midfield I'd go with Nwaneri if we can, but Trossard will be more than capable of playing that role against a team like Leicester, with Nwaneri he's ready to play and is so much more suited to do the Ødegaard role in the way he plays with back to goal and picking out those passes, he's also actually showing more signs of taking shots when they come around than Ødegaard is

Raya will play, I think Arteta is playing a few mind games with the media, given the comments about him going down very often

Hopefully Raya is fit and one of Timber/White will be available for this. Same squad as vs City I guess with Nwnaeri, Skelly (if fit), Sterling, Jesus, and Jorginho all getting minutes.

3-0 Arsenal.

Arsenal Quotes

I think without doubt that Bergkamp is the most talented player to have played for Arsenal in the past 30 years, for as long as I can remember
