Arteta leaking Trossard being injured news through his media minions to fool Ange?

Really not nice if both Martinelli and Trossard are injured, but luckily there is depth in Nelson and ESR.

The random account didn't specify who was actually injured, people are just guessing it's Trossard for some reason. Also pure bollocks that he wasn't in the latest video, he's right there.

Meant pics sorry, they trained today and he wasn’t in them, that video was from a few days ago.

If Trossard is injured Nelson can easily step into LW and I wouldn't bat an eye lid. I trust Riess and so does Mikel imo

It's still pretty horrible luck if both Martinelli and Trossard are injured just before NLD.

Nelson and ESR are fine, but they haven't got good sharpness and are not similar constant level at this point.

Arteta has also played Jesus in the middle and Nketiah at LW before, but I assume it's Nelson to start.

Doesn’t matter if Trossard is injured or not. Who cares when you have Reiss.
Nelson is good, but Trossard is the most efficient goal and assist maker from last season over a longer period. Guy had a point per 108 minutes in EPL for Brighton and Arsenal. That's top level. Martinelli was great also.

It's good to cheer Nelson and also ESR, but let's be realistic, they are not currently at the same level and it's big miss if both are out. They can more easily have ups and downs.

Seeing a lot of love for Reiss 👏

My only worry with him is that for whatever reason, he looks a lot more timid when he starts (admittedly it’s been like, twice) compared to when he’s a sub. Like with most things with Reiss it’s clearly a confidence/mentality type thing.

If he does start I really hope he slays his demons. I can’t see him starting though. Think Arteta would rather start Eddie on the left than either Reiss or Smith Rowe at this point. And I think that’s a mistake.

I would love Nelson to start, but do you think Arteta will trust him in such a high-octane game? I don't think so.
He's trusted him to come on when we're desperate for a goal. He'll ruin those Spuds if he starts. He knows what the fixture means.

A lot of comparing of Maddison to Kai in another thread. It made me think of those that wanted him over Ødegaard once upon a time.

For me, the question is, after what we’re starting to see from Vieira, would you want James over Fabio? He’s 3 and a half years older and cost about £5m more.
