Come on man. Simeone comparisons are massively reactionary. Hugely different trajectories imo. Please retain some faith Yousif mate, I generally agree with you.No im not out lol but we look A.Madrid of PL and even tho that not bad but attacking football will be nice
Those days are gone. Fear of the unknown not there. Found out and not anywhere near us. Mbeuemo can cause nasty surprises but keep discipline and all good.Brentford, AKA the bees, have shown both spunk and balls since claiming their place in the first league of English football.
Won’t be an easy one this, Clifton
To be fair not as bad as A.Madrid but defensively it remind me of Simeone teams just very physical and not getting bullied. Of course we play the highest defense line in europe so we can't completely compare with anyoneCome on man. Simeone comparisons are massively reactionary. Hugely different trajectories imo. I'd say injuries to our more spontaneous players and teams rinsing low block against us has taken it's toll on the football. Other factors as well that I won't get into, but it's not intentional.
Low block definitely the reason why our football is not great definitely need to be patient to braak teams down its sucks but at least does prove we good teams dont want to leave much space against usI'd say injuries to our more spontaneous players and teams rinsing low block against us has taken it's toll on the football. But I’m also definitely seeing players stick to their lanes more than last season - we’re not doing as many rotations in game and our midfielders are always pulling out wide which to me says there’s a clear directive to progress wide and not take any chances through the middle and to stay in lanes so that we don’t get easily caught on the counter.
It's actually more because Rice and Havertz simply can't do it. More of a consequence/an adaptation than a directive.
I agree with this.In my opinion, it's more because Rice and Havertz simply can't do it. More of a consequence/an adaptation than a directive.
You don't really want to be exciting in this league if you're trying to win it anyways. Liverpool, Villa, Chelsea etc are all entertaining because they concede chances and play ping pong with their opponent betting on their superior attack. We don't do that.
I want to agree with you, and I certainly do in the case of Havertz but it’s worth pointing out that this pulling out wide thing was sth we saw in pre season as well. I was starved of football so I went full @SA Gunner and watched all these YouTube tacticos and they all pointed it out.
Thankfully the tactico thing was just a phase![]()
Are there more international breaks than usual this season?
I'm 'eagerly' awaiting Norway getting battered by the Faeroes this afternoon. A spectacle for the ages....I'm pretty sure having 3 intl breaks within the first few months of the season is *not* normal. I can't stand it.

Aye, fortunately. It is a glorified friendly, so it would be just our luck if he got mauled in that game.Ødegaard ruled out yeah?
We've gone all in on relying on set pieces. Posh Stoke tbhIt’s a whole new midfield compared to last season anyways, compounded with Ødegaard’s injury. I’m sure that’s not helping.
