We play at the same time as Man City, who are at home to Forest. On paper, we are overwhelming favourites for the win, but it's a potential banana skin, as previous visits to The Amex Stadium have shown.

We need to keep winning to alleviate the pressure & keep the momentum. Hopefully Welbz doesn't do anything against his old club !

Looks like Ødegaard is still out, so Eze will probably continue. Probably too soon for Havertz.

1-3. Gyok, Saka, Trossard

Gyokeres was at Brighton early in his career but sold quite quickly, so he'll be extra motivated to play & he'll be chomping at the bit to score.

Be nice if he & Trossard score the winning goals !
Think Trossard will be motivated against them also believe he is our best option for ball retention because Brighton are a technical ball playing team, we need the security on that side so we can keep possession.

I distinctly remember him having stinker against them at the Emirates when they put the final nail in the coffin of our title chase, winning 0-3 at the Emirates May 2023.

Rasmi saying we invented time wasting because it took 3 minutes to give injured player a treatment and then sub him off is peak trolling.
Time wasting & the so called 'dark arts' has been in the game for a very long time, despite the narrative the press & media in general are trying to tell everyone.

Look at this utter bs, from the manager Teta probably learned his managerial craft from...

It’s really not. Most of you are too tribal to see what’s going on. The constant slowing the game down every throw in or set piece is Arsenal thing. We started with the crowding keeper and taking the wrestling too far. Could have easily given 2 pens away against Chelsea. Against Brighton I’m sure the ref has been told to watch us closely and wouldn’t be surprised if we give pens away

The thing is Arteta has taken things too far and has become the face of everything that’s wrong with the game.
No - in recent times it's a Pep thing and we copied it.

Pep definitely had a negative impact on English football. Since he took over and others copied him. Every season almost all of the top 10 most completed passes over a season is defenders

Every time I read an opposition forum before we play them its the same thing:

Arteta is evil. We have ruined football. Arsenal are a billion-pound Stoke. Every single goal is a set piece. Worse fans in the league.

Fck em ! I genuinely love it that everyone hates us. We have gone from being 'soft' & a 'banter club', to being relevant once again & we have literally changed our own narrative.

People don't like it & it's frankly pathetic watching other teams b*tch about us. It means we're in their heads & long may it continue.

*We do need to win things this season tho, otherwise we'll be all bark, without the bite.

Don't concede, build from there. Bighton were in a bit of trouble, and the home crowd was turning toxic, but they are out of danger after two consecutive wins. I'm not sure if that's good or bad for us. Probably bad. 😖

I'm favouring a return to pure Haramball tbh.

Arsenal Quotes

When you start supporting a football club, you don’t support it because of the trophies, or a player, or history, you support it because you found yourself somewhere there; found a place where you belong.
