Would love to see Bruno make his full PL debut as a starter for us but we're probably being cautious. Last season when we faced Sunderland we barely had any fit forwards yet we still battered them in the second half and really should have won pretty comfortably. We have close to a fully fit squad and are playing great football. I feel like we can rock up to any ground and not give the team we're playing a sniff.

0-2 to the Arsenal.
yeah we started Merino as CF Gyo and Kai were injured lol and he struggled that game Brobbey give us difficult game need Konsa to deal with him.

They deserved a point for how well they battled us but we really should have have won, we absolutely battered them in the second half.
they also started that season very well it wasn't easy game at all hopefully with more refreshed team with Kai and Ode being available we'll more be comfertable i think they'll spend most the game defending.

Great opportunity to put down our marker and fingers crossed all goes well this weekend and we put ourselves into 1st place with a view of staying there till may

4 players return to the Lineup, I'd be tempted to bring Bruno in if we can, ideally to sit Rice out for a bit, not only because Rice did look a bit tired at the end, but Bruno will be absolutely chomping at the bit to get involved in this game and show what he can do to our fans and stick one over Sunderland

I'm going for a 3-1 win, play them the end of the game from last season as the teamtalk, I think that will get us fired up and remind them not to take them lightly!

I remember watching the 2-2 last season whilst I was on holiday in Morocco. Soured the whole day for me. We deserved to win tbh. Think it'll be;

Raya
White Konsa Gabriel Calafiori
MLS Rice
Saka Ødegaard Tzolis
Havertz

I think we'll keep Bruno on the bench for this one and start him against Ipswich. MLS deserves his starting place in any case.

I think we will 0-3. I think Tzolis bags his first goal for us here.

Proper club whom I've got a lot of time for. They matched us physically in a battle of attrition last season & were good for their point.

We need to control the midfield & be clinical because chances will be as few as they were last season.

First non disorganized club we play in the league I think. Coventry was a bag of nerves with half a new team, Villa had no striker to attempt a shot on target with, Chelsea had a serious midfield gap after transfer shenanigans finally went wrong for them.

Hoping for a pleasant surprise.

Decent team, decent stadium, decent fanbase. Got nothing against them really. Hope we win & they go on to have a good season again

This was Sunderland’s last game in the PL:

Expecting a real physical game tbh. Two teams back to back in the PL with 5 at the back 😂

Let’s hope Dan Ballard doesn’t turn into Paolo Maldini this time around. He was blocking every thing when we played them last season.

Ballard's mentality is top draw. I remember watching him in our reserves and you could tell he was going to be a good professional back then.

Yeah his physicality suits the EPL. He's been pretty impressive. Many were turning their nose up at him as a forward option for us based on his Ajax days and he was actually pretty good there a few seasons ago.

We're wearing the yellow third kit instead of our gorgeous away top which we haven't worn yet (in an official game).

-3 debuff on all attributes ffs

Arsenal Quotes

I want a fan to wake up in the morning and say, “Arsenal are playing today, I’m going to have a good time.” That guy starts his day off by thinking that something good is going to happen to him. And to do that, big clubs like Arsenal have to have the ambition to play spectacularly. Of shared happiness.
