Last season they had more attempts, possession and higher xgoals over the two legs. I think they are better than us at keeping possession and if we win it will be counter and a lot of defending

This is such a braindead take man. The 2-2 we had a much higher xG, and in the reverse we stopped bothering after going 3-0 up and let them get in to it but it was not because they’re some kind of awesome possession based team.

Anyway, Rice isn’t playing so shouldn’t we be dominating them possession wise? Don’t you always say he holds us back? Have you ever managed to string 2 consistent thoughts together in your life?

I hope Jesus is available for this one, we could use his energy and creativity so that he interchanges with Havertz in midfield and upfront.

Sterling Jesus Saka
Havertz Ødegaard

Timber Gabriel Saliba White

Wouldn’t mind Calafiori in place of Timber, just to give us more security against their wide player.

Trossard, Martinelli to come on later.

Calafiori in defence and Timber in midfield, can't be bothered to watch two snails in midfield in a North London derby... Martinelli for Trossard too, need more speed...could easily still beat them even with our absentees, think it will be a very close game though.

Next two league games will be brutal, we probably need at least 4 points from them if we want the title.

We were 3-0 up and stopped bothering in a derby? That first half we were 3 goals up with 29% and lower xgoals. We got an own goal. Then they equalised, but it was offside by couple of centimetres. It was a great win, but one where a lot went our way. I expect similar game where we have 30-35% possession and defending most of the game

Ok honey…

Next time a result doesn’t go our way but we “win on xG” I expect you to display the same energy in defence of the venerable metric

After our next 2 away games our league title will be over imo

Idk, I’ve seen stranger things happen.

I’m still much more confident about the league than CL - our defence can carry us domestically but our attack isn’t quite good enough against the very best imo.

I expect top 4 and no trophies. I expect regression this season and I already seen the signs first 3 games in which we were not great in any of them

Jaysus isn't even training yet. What makes you think he will be match fit enough to start in a week? Trossard should start at CF if Kai plays at LCM. He's a big game scorer unlike Sus anyway.

Rice playing as an 8 means our midfield will be crap for another week. Getting a draw would be lucky for us.

Arsenal Quotes

I want a fan to wake up in the morning and say, “Arsenal are playing today, I’m going to have a good time.” That guy starts his day off by thinking that something good is going to happen to him. And to do that, big clubs like Arsenal have to have the ambition to play spectacularly. Of shared happiness.
