Do people realise what this would mean if we go to Sp**s and win while missing 4/5 first team players and having all the rival fans excited about our injuries?

This would be a statement.

That's exactly one of the things Arteta and the team are discussing behind the scenes.

Everyone outside those who really follow the team and know how we play are predicting our funeral and the beginning of the end for us. That everything we've done over the last two years was all a fluke.

You'll see a determined Arsenal on Sunday, a team on a mission.

Looks like van de Ven will play, the other two 50/50 according to this. VDV will be in and out of the team injured his entire Sp**s career, they rely on him being like an Olympic sprinter with the 'Ange ball' mental high line.

Disappointed at how we've streaked into the lead of the crocks league but we still have enough to win against this mid table team.

Having said that our record there is not as good as it should be, we need to resist temptation to play a derby and just play our football. Let them huff and puff and let us clinically dismantle them as we can do. In a way I think Arteta is better than Wenger at this derby, less emotionally invested. It's relatively early days but at the moment his record at WSL is better than Wenger's.

It's a shame we miss Rice, Ødegaard and Merino, this really requires adjustments to our normal game. Partey and Jorginho playing a high line will mean we don't end this game with 11 on the pitch.

Trossard will probably start for Ødegaard - I don't think Nwaneri starts here which is why it would have made so much sense for him to be blooded earlier - and Jesus is not certain to play. Which means Kai has to lead the line and can't do midfield. I would love to see Nwaneri come on though. Given their cluelessness at defending set pieces I would like to see us end the game - if they are all available - with Calafiori, Saliba, Gabriel, White, Kiwior and Kai on the pitch.

2-1 to the Arsenal, 2-0 if Raya pulls off another wondersave.

Forgot to say.... fully expecting Sterling to have a brilliant debut.

Looks like they all are available from the Pressconference from Ange. Question is if they will start.

"The internationals all came back OK. Biss [Yves Bissouma] is the only one who's got a bit of an issue. It's not serious, he's getting treatment today and we'll see if he can train tomorrow.

Out of the other guys, Mickey Van de Ven is all good, he's trained pretty fully during the international break.

Dom [Solanke] in the back half of this week, joined in with the first team, he trained today. We've got training tomorrow so if they get through alright, I guess they'll be available."

Sp**s Van De Ven and Solanke back to training and expected to be fit but Bissouma and Richarlison won't be available.

It's mind games from Mikel but I don't think Ødegaard gonna available unless the ankle injury is not bad as expected

Gee, it's a petty that Ødegaard got injured for Norway, it's interesting what Arteta has said regarding his injury. He'll probably still be out unfortunately but we can't say he's out 100% after what Arteta has said.

Isn’t Bissouma big miss for them?

Think he’s looked excellent under Ange
He will be a big miss, but I think he will play based on the latest comments above. He is a really bad match up for Jorgi and Partey I feel.
