Prediction

Sp**s 1-1 Arsenal

Yousif Arsenal

Was on Vinai's payroll; misses 4th place trophy 🏆
Doesn't seem Ødegaard was in training so yeah was kinda mind games from Mikel.

Need to get good results at Sp**s and city if we want to make this league interesting.

Moving Saka to RCM would send out an incredibly bad message to Nwaneri.

“So you’re in the squad incase Ødegaard gets injured, but we don’t trust you at all so we’re playing our best player at right wing there and putting someone who hasn’t kicked a ball in an Arsenal shirt at RW.”

Just play Nwaneri. He’s the backup for a reason.
I kind of agree with you, but the WHL is not the place to start building a relationship with the supporters. One bad game can really affect the development of a young developing player. The original intention was probably to give Nwaneri playing time, but mostly as a substitute and specifically against weaker opponents.

If he's not ready, he's not ready.

Also I doubt Mikel has set the expectation with him that he's Ødegaard's backup.
It's a huge step that he's part of the main squad at 17. Even to play a substitute role.
Starting against Sp**s when the pressure is on may not be good for him. And most likely not good for us.

If this were City maybe. Or even Forrest or Brentford.

But against Sp**s, Nwaneri will be fine. Kid might get a brace or a hattrick against their defense.

You doubt Mikel has set up that expectation?

We loaned Vieira and entrusted Nwaneri with the minutes of Ødegaard goes down. We didn’t sign anyone for that position because of Nwaneri.

I will never understand why people have this urge to put players out of position. Saka LB or Saka RCM is equally ridiculous. No one who knows ball is going to do that.

It’s going to be Jorginho - Partey. That’s fine. They are both positionally sound and can play that long ball to Saka, Sterling and Havertz

You're essentially playing one of Jorginho-Partey out of position tho because we don't play with two sitting midfielders, one of them would have to play left 8 which will be a bigger demand of them than having Saka move to the RCM as Saka's attributes are far more suited to that than Jorginho is being a box crashing midfielder.

You tweak Jorginho’s role to being a bit more advanced than he usually is. It’s not his first time playing with Partey. Out of possession they act as double pivot.

Moving Saka to RCM changes his role completely. He is an end product player. Moving him to midfield neutralises our biggest strength and he would be kicked out of the game

There are always arguments happening on this forum, constant debates about things football related and non football related.

Do you like this poster, does that poster like you...do you like this player, do you like this manager...what's better, the more technical past or the more physical present...etc, it's never ending.

But today is one of those days where literally none of that matters, as a few words from a famous guy can be spoken about what's happening in a few hours...lads, it's Tottenham!

So let's forgot all the other sh1t for a bit, come together as a fanbase/forum and absolutely slap up these idiots today.

2-1 to the best part of a woman's body!

On the other hand a midfield of TP & Jorg has absolutely no legs.

Sp**s will just run thru them like knife thru butter my friend.

It's kamikaze.

Usually out left 8 has to do so much running, gets forward, does a lot of the combative work, I just can't envisage Jorginho doing that and I think adapting things is just too regressive. Why I even think Timber might be decent in that role.

Also my first choice is Havertz RCM anyways as he has the ability to lead the press but I still don't think Saka RCM is far fetched as if he's interchanging with Sterling for example he'll still be getting opportunity to attack via that right side.
