Turns out Arsenal are built different.Yeah don't worry uncle Partey who's been run off the pitch by Villa and spaghetti legs Jorginho will keep up in midfield. A team without midfield is dead.

It was how we set the game, if we played high line and we would be done. Jorginho had some troubles in some duels that put us in open counters. Gladly Timber is very solid defensively.Turns out Arsenal are built different.
All that celebrating Ode's injury when we will thump them regardless.
I stopped reading after the third 'today'. Literary genius, this guy is not
So it was a new passing experiment? I was just wondering why we kept misplacing themCongrats to Arteta and the boys. It was a really good team performance where every single player sacrificed a part of their own game for the collective. I couldn't stop laughing that the midfield pensioners lasted the whole game and were pretty untroubled. I'm delighted that Nwaneri had such a good cameo in such a high value match. But the mist pleasing thing for me was the brave/risky passing that we tried to win the game. It was a bit freestyle but the intent was welcome. It will pay off in other matches (or cost us). Well done to Arteta on his tactics and offensive subs. If Jesus and Sterling can start firing, we'll have a good first 18.
Brighton, not Wolves but the rest of your post is spot on.Frustrating that a ref robs us of a perfect start and perfect clean sheet record as Wolves weren’t scoring against XI on the pitch.
Take that nonsense incident out and we’ve had a very impressive start of the season.
I wouldn't call it an experiment but these passes looked deliberate to me. We are usually quite safe and these were a bit handbrake off.So it was a new passing experiment? I was just wondering why we kept misplacing them
It is related to how we played. Directly quick transitions needs longer passes which means less % accuracy. When playing possession and high line means players are closer each other, closer passes and less space so less direct football.I wouldn't call it an experiment but these passes looked deliberate to me. So was Saliba’s.Timber's yellow was a joke.
Our defense is world class. Jorginho and TP worked their socks off but most of time in 1v1, non zonal defending they got done imo. Especially Jorginho.Turns out Arsenal are built different.
