The funny thing is all the commentators, even the MotD one, said he was lucky he wasnt sent off

Yeah, lucky for sure, as Arsenal players tend to get these one off freak double yellow or red card incidents
It's so weird, isn't it?

It's crazy.

Saliba's yellow was crazy as well lol, and nobody mentioned it I think. It's like they are now doing this on purpose to prove a point about Rice's card - but ironically the "letter of the law" still only applies to us.

They have beaten us once in League in Emirates era. Meanwhile we did them 3 times in a row in their new stadium. Can’t sh.t on Mik for that; unfortunately.

I thought Jorgi and Thomas had few bad moments but the overall they used their experience well to drop deep and just channel them wide. Now all the lads deserve credit and it’s a great win starting a brutal and crucial week.

Mik has to keep playing Nwaneri. In CL he should play Jorgi/Nwaneri/and Rice. He won’t he almost certainly will start Thomas and in my mind that is a mistake. This first road tie in Cl is not the priority. I want to see if he is smart on Thursday in rotating and prioritizing City. He needs to rotate a ton. In this new format a point will do our defense should get us that. He hasn’t been a total boffhead yet this season but not rotating heavily for CL would be a mistake. I might even drop Saka as a sub we use if we need a goal
Think he needs to treat Partey and Jorginho as if they were one player and get a good half out of each.

Do have Tottenham mates, after the game I text none them, I know what it's like losing a derby or any huge game.

Anyway mate text me hour after the game, you game management got you the win well drilled team, us looking for a bit of magic, crowd flat as soon as you scored, inevitable result.

Pretty fair comments.

Exactly.

We need top top finishers in advanced areas, a top drawer wide player (like Kvaradonna) and a striker. I also want to see another box-box come in and for us to fully integrate Nwaneri.

This team needs to be as good in attack as we are in defence. Then we will really take it to City.
What striker?

Aston Villa has two strikers better than Kai how dod they manage it? How does Newcastle have Isak? How did Dortmund get Guiarrsey
Kai has been good since he’s moved upfront bro, not sure what you’re still moaning about 🤣

I’d understand your frustrations if this was 20 years ago, and Kai was our starting striker.. but we’re in 2024 bro. The striker market is horrendous.

Kai’s done well upfront so far, and he’s putting up decent numbers too. I can’t even hate on him right now, he’s doing well.

Bro answer me how Villa and Newcastle have one if not two better strikers? It’s about 2024. We got to be perfect and ruthless to beat City and the 6-8 points the refs give them every year. He is a below average striker for an elite European club
