• To all AM members and guests.

For the start of the new season, Arsenal Mania has relaunched the news side of the site. All articles are written by genuine Arsenal fans with no hidden agenda. You can visit the site via the menu at the top of the forum pages or go direct to our homepage

Additionally, Arsenal Mania is now sending all its registered members a bi-weekly Briefing Bulletin containing a digest of news and views from both parts of the site. Some of you may have already received the first edition and those that haven't should do so before the big kick off against United. If you are a guest visitor to this forum then if you join as a member, you will automatically receive the Bulletin.

Yeah you’ve forgotten it. Foden rolled Partey and then played in Palmer. Just to be clear, Partey when fit and able was one of the best 6s I’ve seen. He had everything. He was better than Rodri imo.

My problem is I don’t think this Partey is either fit or able. Tbf he rolled back the years and made some good recovery runs against Sp**s but I’m also sure there is no way he can keep it up for 3 games in one week so if he plays tomorrow…

It’s not looking good brev 😔
Yeah we just have to keep our fingers crossed I guess. He's definitely lost something physically but if he can concentrate for the full 90 (BIG IF), maybe we'll have some success.

That sucks for him. Really limited player though, don’t understand why they signed him.

Johnson is kind of the Eddie Nketiah of wingers. He's not a bad player and was good for Forest and would be a reasonable signing for a Palace-level team. As a starter for a team with CL aspirations ... not remotely good enough.

The difference is that Eddie was a squad player for us and we sold him for 30 million while Johnson is a starter for them and they paid 50 million.

Arsenal Quotes

When Patrick Vieira came over from AC Milan, he didn’t know a word of English. We gave him accommodation, phone, car and an English teacher. I talked to Patrick in fluent French and before a game I asked in French, can you speak a bit of English to me? Patrick nodded and replied: Tottenham are shit!
