The good thing is we are in better shape injury wise and have started playing well now we're at full strength but i just don't trust the referee to not do something stupid tommorow again, hopefully we don't give Anthony Taylor an opening to screw us tommorow.
Yep it’s nice we have most people back. Only true concern is at RB where we don’t have a first team player fit who can cover for Timber. We’d need to be brave and use the academy kid a bit (forgot his name) but Arteta doesn’t do stuff like that haha. Maybe Calafiori can just play there sometimes. He heavily inverts anyway so not too much of an issue on your wrong side.

Yeah I hope West Ham don’t end up becoming super hard to beat after that Newcastle win. We need this to be another mauling to say we are back to top form in time for United.

This game and United the week after will tell us if we are in the title race. We need to win this game comfortably and then beat United next week if we wanna be in it.

Barca supporting friend of mine said we'd thrash West Ham today. Reassuring as that is, I'm not trusting a thing he says.

This f*cker inadvertently put a curse on me that delayed me & the missus from having a second child for 6 years after our first

Saw the reaction of the, usually unflappable @SA Gunner, and decided to point out that there's no need to worry. I can confirm that curses cannot be transferred in an electronic format

Yes that's true we have our best 11 back but I still don't trust Arteta to protect our players enough and also still some question marks if they are 100% fit. And I think that also makes a diffrence if players are 100% fit or not.

I mean Timber came back from an ACL and seems to always play, than in the last few weeks Califiori had isuess, Gabriel, Rice, Ødegaard coming back from a big injury, Saka...

I hope for comfortable 3-0 victory that allows us to have some early subs.

Yet we have had very good fitness for more than a season now, with our last real crisis coming back in late 22/23 season, over a year ago.

There are concerns with fitness yes, but I think we can also give Arteta and the coaching staff the benefit of the doubt here. Because the fitness record speaks for itself.

Heard Lopetegui won't even be in the dugout. If we don't smash them, then we should pack it in.

Probably benefits them that he’s not on the touchline. An absolute mess of a manager.

Maybe we’ll finally get to witness “the West Ham way” their fanbase always talk about since he’s not around.

They just need to move on from us signing their captain at this point, tbh.

"Fancy Stoke" to get another 6-0?
Yeah I saw that comment. To be honest now and again when the boss reverts to pure uncut Haramball it does feel like fancy stoke is about right :) (completely justified away to City)

I have a 3:30 a.m. wake-up call tomorrow. The match will have to go unwatched. On the other hand, the team probably performs better if I keep my face away from the TV.

No floppytegui on the touchline? Anyway, that west ham team is quite a mess. Id only be worried about Bowen and Kudus, one of which can't play.

The pitch and ground isn't an intimidating one like say a Crystal Palace. It gives Wembley day out vibes and should really be a ****ing battering for West Ham.

Kudus is crap. Do Arsenal fans even watch West Ham games?
Defo overrated on AM a bit but to be fair to him he’s been mainly being played out of position there recently. He’s a right sided player. Or in midfield. Not LW.

I would take him as a squad player, Saka and Ødegaard backup. But would need to be at a non extortionate price.

Arsenal Quotes

I still have an interest in training and development, in the stages that make it possible for players first to acquire technique (between 7 and 12) and then to develop physically (between 12 and 16), then to deepen their mental resilience (between 17 and 19) and finally between 19 and 22 to acquire what is critical, like the roof of a house without which all the rest rots away: intelligence and motivation
