Tonight's game was a disappointing performance. We have to dust ourselves up. The little lads gave it a good go.

Honestly I haven't see this and it is onside. The reference is the ball, not the defenders here. Well, it feels good to get a little help from refs once. Now I know how it feels to be a ManCity/Liverpool fan.
When watching it live I thought it was actually the pass out wide to Semedo that was offside. Haven't seen that back yet.

As things stand now, and looking at some of the other clubs forums.. it seems United, Sp**s, Liverpool fans, are all waiting for the "inevitable Arsenal collapse"..

But they don't seem to be getting the reality that since Christmas 21, Arsenal have been the 2nd best team in the league consistently so there's no reason to think any collapse is inevitable

In fact, let's imagine that from this point on, Arsenal get no better, or no worse than they did last season.. just stay the same as they were

If they did, over the final 24 games, they'd pick up an extra 46 points.. and finish on 83 points

Very comfortable CL spot

We were nowhere near our best earlier, we still got a clean sheet & 2 goals though. It shouldn't matter, a win is a win we've got a 5pt lead now come the break.

GJ is still unfortunate not to get a goal, imo I'm not fussed, he's made a few assists & you can tell he is a team player rather then a ball hog. MO is getting better, it's taken him a few weeks to get to his best but he's getting to his maximum professional level. Saliba & Gabriel have made a great CB partnership.

Been saying it for weeks. At this point falling out of Top 4 would be a sackable offense.

This team is already more stable than last years. Xhaka out? We cope. Partey out? We cope. Ode out? We cope. Yes, its a loss of form, yes, we're weaker for it, yes it's going to get hairy against a Top 4/6 side, but it's not a car crash, like it's been over the past few seasons.

Palace/Brighton/Southhampton ain't gonna happen this season and it would take a bigger car crash than even that to kick us out of the Top 4.

Again just looking at it.. we only stand still and get those 83 pts

To pass us..

Newcastle would need 53 from max 69

Sp**s would need 54 from max 69

United would need 60 from max 75

Liverpool would need 61 from max 72

We cannot falter here.. we must not

A f*cking Citeh fan of all people questioning our heritage as a big club?!!

The most exciting thing to happen to them before the Emiratis purchased their provincial outfit was a couple of streakers running across the pitch at Maine Road as we thrashed them 0-4 back in 2001 :lol::lol::lol:

Man City's most famous player, before they got lucky with the oil money...

Was at the last game where we bear them 5-1 in old Maine Road.. bought tickers off a tout outside

Stuck in with the hardest of the City supporters wanting to know who the random Irish lads were

Thought on my feet (which was some job considering the hangover I had) and said we were on a stag and had bought tickets to see Richard Dunne play

Cue Arsenal ripping Dunne a new one, and he got subbed at half time with Arsenal 4 up 😅😅😅

Poor Richard had a day to forget. But at least you watched the gunners run riot & then, hopefully, a nice night out with the lads

Maddest thing was, the City fans were really sympathetic that we'd paid to see Dunner get scalded and wanted to bring us back to some City pub and treat us to a few pints on them.. now, dunno how many people know what part of Manchester the old Maine Road was in, but it looked dodgy enough in day time, never mind in the dark.. and if one of us inadvertently revealed we were Gooners after a few pints, we'd probably have been lynched

We told them we were off to Tiger Tiger and needed to get changed 😅😅
