Sadly Herefords FA Cup run is over as we went down 0-2 to Gillingham. We played pretty well and were a bit unlucky, the first goal taking a nasty deflection and then a late penalty making the score look more one sided than it was.
I'm proud of the boys though, Gillingham are 2 tiers above us and obviously professional. The fans did the club proud too with nearly 4500 in attendance, only a few hundred off a full house.

Not sure if Michael Owen can rebuild the relationship with the Liverpool supporters.Finished watching the Kevin Prince Boateng interview and he seems like a decent guy as he was just saying it as it isprefer those type of interviews rather than the media trained lot especially when they’ve retired.
Owen will definitely try to stay balanced as he’s been trying to rebuild that relationship with the scousers ever since he retired but he just needs to accept that it isn’t ever happening.
Robbie Fowler will always be seen as a Liverpool Hero / Legend. He is like one of them.
I could be wrong, don't think Owen had the same rapport. He was more middle class? Plus playing for Manchester United didn't exactly help.

Entertaining game at The Valley, with Charlton being held to a 1-1 draw by Cray Valley Papermills FC in the FA Cup. Only downside was having to listen to Stewart Robson.

See that Charlton won the replay 6 - 1. Cray did equalise to make it 1 - 1.
