Would be hilarious if he goes ETH mode and only signs Sporting or Portuguese players (admittedly signing Diomande / Gyokeres would be good). Half Dutch/Ajax half Portuguese/Sporting team.

Already have 2 ex Sporting players and 2 Portuguese guys in the team now.

Sporting/Ajax FC.

He’s really not that good. So it’s not big surprise he’s struggling at juve
He's not been "not that good" he's been dogshit for Juve, their fans think they've been scammed. Always thought he was a bit overrated and would get found out in a league where midfielders play grown up footy but didn't think he'd look this bad

Yeah you right. Midfielders in England are in low period. I mean ryan gravenberch is the standing out midfielder. As long as you win few tackles and push the ball to your winger you do well in England. The art of the position is dying out. There’s really no game controllers outside of Rodri

it's funny how modern football fans lose it after just any poor run of form Real Madrid fans acting it's end of the world.

He's just turned 19? Not sure if it's Yamal thing but why is it a given that teenagers must play minutes all the time?

If you look at Cristiano's minutes for us in transfermarkt in 2003, it would be pretty normal for him to miss a couple games in a row, come on in the 75th minute for 4 games, start the 5th game. And looking at the level Madrid are playing, the level is even higher and the competition is much more difficult.

Games gone when TheEuropeanLad is trying to criticise Don Carlo, who has pretty much banked on youth players all the way though his career.

that the issue with fanbase these days they think any youngster with good ability is the next best thing. Saka didn't play regular until he was 19 Foden too. talents like Yamal are rare.

Same happens here with Nwaneri though. I agree with you.

He has played 15% of the minutes this season. He can get more minutes without playing every minute

Now that I think about it, it doesn’t make any sense, Martinez surely takes that LCB spot in that system. They need an RCB much more (with De Ligt central).
I genuinely wouldn’t be surprised if Amorim plays Lindelof at rcb. If he goes with a three.
He’s very good on the ball and one of the most underrated defenders in PL.

The only issue would be from a height perspective in having both him and Martinez playing.

We still have Leny Yoro as well who’s just returned to first team training. Looked good in pre-season so hopeful he can come good after his injury. This time off probably did him good in some way in terms of settling.

Arsenal Quotes

My first ever football memory was Charlie George's double winning goal in 71. After that game; I just became an Arsenal fan.
