Perhaps he's playing like a 'wimp' because he is at like 50% fitness right now. Agreed he should really be rested, but who else is there?

Eh.

Resting Henry will mean teams won't fear us, plus at our current form, I don't think it's wise.

I think it would be wise to rest him.Look at Sol's achilles injury.I cant imagine him having a long lay off.
Teams dont fear us because of Henry. Its the defenders who fear him, not the team.We can work on something with out him.I am sure of it .
I think Reyes plays better on the left , with someone like bergkamp/van Persie on the right . I saw in the Liverpool match that Henry and Reyes kept running in to the same places .The communication needs to be better that that between them.I am sure he has learnt some English as English grammar is really really poor in general .

I don't think it'd be that bad an idea to have a look at someone else during the Birmingham game. Would also like to see Pennant start, well as Freddie's playing, I'm convinced we need something different down the right, especially as the left side of our team seems to be malfunctioning.

Henry should be rested imo. Rest him until the Chelsea match, it's when we'll need him most and I think we can risk not playing him in the Rosenburg match. I'd also like to see Pennant given a start and maybe try Ljungberg on the left? Or if not play Reyes on the left and V.Persie and Bergkamp upfront (dutch duo :D ) When will Bergkamp be back btw?

Is it just me or is anyone else noticing the vast improvement of the Lauren- Freddie partnership. It's been great all season from the Everton game. I am very impressed.

Let's write a petition letter to A Wenger to rest Henry for a couple of weeks. He needs it badly.

Ermm, how about for Birmingham, we play Freddie on the left, hes always seemed more dangerous there, Pires or Pennant on the right. Now heres the best part, Reyes and Quincy up front. Or... no. Reyes and RvP, that could work, or whatever we had in pre-season, that worked.

Rest him against brum and hopefully he'll be ready to go for rosenborg and chelsea. Play RVP and one of the youth strikers, rest reyes too

He needs a rest, he is just a human. Now he is injured, tired and out of form. If we gets him some rest, he will be back - old good Henry!

Bergkamp - Quincy, why not? It`s worth a try

we've failed to provide proper rotation options for henry's position, meaning that while we're working RvP into the first team right now is not a feasible time to be resting henry as much as he needs it :(

I agree he needs a rest, but Reyes needs a total break from training and match. Right now, playing Reyes is like playing with 10 men as he plays no part whatsoever, but Henry is still making contributions.... and he is still the premiership's top scorer!

RvP and Henry should start the Birmingham game with Pires on the left. If he is fit, Berkamp could come on for Henry in the 2nd half.

Midfield - Flamini plays on Wednesday in the cup. Therefore, Viera and Cesc should start against Birmingham and Flamini comes on in the 2nd half for Cesc.

Reyes up front still aint as bad as Pires playing (despite the 8 goals) Reyes on the wing tracks back, that's never a bad thing, it's just not what we want, Pires can't even claim to get back and do work.
