Well, it's not exactly like SkySports say.
I read the interview on Marca. The journalist said: "after a bad start, you nearly quit, you're now settled."
The quotes are translated correctly. It was a bad time, but leave the club? He's never said that.

Glad to hear he's well settled and doesn't want to play for any team apart from Arsenal. ;)

agree. As always newspapers are looking for sensations. I can imagine The Sun headline: REYES WANTED TO LEAVE ARSENAL

You think that is bad journalism heh, the backpage of a Scottish newspaper has the headline 'Ill get Berti the sack' 'Reyes vows to hammer the Scots', yet he only says he wants to score tonight.

Also inside it says 'Reyes has insulted Scots by comparing them to San Marino' as a headline when all he said was they are a strong physical team like San Marino and it would be good preparation.

Read the Marca piece and Reyes only said that while he had a rough time at the beginning, being lonely and scoring an own goal, he made the right decision in staying the course. The journalist tried to bait him into agreeing that Angulo chickened out, but Reyes simply said that every player has to make his own decision and that he wouldn't comment on Angulo.
Overall he was very diplomatic and cautious, which comes with being in the spotlight and playing with people the staure of Henry and Vieira who have to deal with the press day in and day out.
Notable was his praise for Raul, whose position he'll probably take.

In his own website he showed off his house and said that he looked at many places before settling on that one, given that he planned to live there for a long time. www.joseantonioreyes.com

We all expected Jose to have a few problems settling in to a new country. He's learning problems were well documented and some pundits said he wouldn't be able to adapt to another part of Spain, let alone a new country. So I think he's doing fine. Infact he sounds very happy with life in London in that interview he gave to FourFourTwo magazine.

that interview is so out of context its not funny.

as if jose knows how to say "its all roses" in either spainish or english. I'm sure he doesn't even know what it means.
