Riou
Mikel… Is this real?
Country: Northern Ireland
If we are lucky we might just get him back for the first game of next season
Cobham Colney same sh1t tbh.
Kroenkes are playing mind games with Boehly making him think he has to pay the healthcare costs involved while he's knee deep in a takeover coup. 4D Chess.Cobham?
Does it really matter if he is injured? Seems like he isnt seen as a man for the starting 11 anyway.
Mud could have suck in our cannons, we would be misfiring for years to come. We are so lucky it never happened.Cobham used to be the home of the Moody Blues before the Muddy Blues moved in.
Still think it was a pointless signing.
I can't remember Zinchenko ever getting destroyed like Kiwior in a single game. Zinchenko isn't amazing defensively but you guys are riding him just because he isn't likeable. We've had 4 different LB's play in the last season. There is no-one who has claimed the spot to be his own. Timber and Tomiyasu are solid without being impressive. Zinchenko is the most creative, but the weakest defensively. Kiwior is also solid. None of them look like they are as good as White, Saliba and Gabriel. Calafiore on the other hand does and plays like a boss.
He had one major injury in his career years ago. That's not the same as being injury prone. Reece James is injury prone. Tomiyasu is injury prone.
No, I like Zinchenko, he's a very good player who gets a bad rep.I can't remember Zinchenko ever getting destroyed like Kiwior in a single game. Zinchenko isn't amazing defensively but you guys are riding him just because he isn't likeable.
I'll repeat it, as I've followed him since his debut in the youth academy: this data is misleading if read without context. He had only 2 seasons which he didnt missed 50% of the club games.

Looks injury prone to me. Do not forget, he is only 22. That young body should not miss that many games due to injury.

in 2018-19, at 16 years old, he tore his ACL, an issue that persisted throughout the 2019-20 season.
in 2020-21, he was out due to covid and muscle problems typical for someone just returning to play.
in 2021-22, he still didn't find regular playing time and had muscle issues again.
keep in mind that this is happening to a young player at a critical point in his development.
in 2022-23, his first season as a starter, he got injured during his first training session at Basilea. since then, he’s missed only a few games due to minor issues. last year at Bologna, he missed just two games due to contusion.
so yes, it's true that he missed too many games during the crucial moments of his development, but now he seems like a completely different player physically. I remember him being super skinny at Roma.
