Needs to come in as a substitute for Merino up front. The movement of a striker and those long locks provide the vibes of a classic 90s Argentinian striker in the vein of Crespo or Batistuta.

Confirmed out for the Palace game. I hope his injury problems get sorted out next season. Such a wasted season. Nothing worse than having a player who could really help the team but they're never available.

this is our best starting 11 for the run in, it should start when all available through the CL games. No point messing around with it at all

I think it's his style of play that leads to injury

Very pedal to the floor, Rambo-esque style which leads to him exerting or overextending his legs in unnatural positions, which of course leads to injury

I hope we can coach that out of him because there's a very good player in there if he played a slightly more disciplined game

According to transfermarkt, he's missed 25 games this season due to injury for Arsenal and Italy combined.

Worst part is, that's his 3rd worst season in terms of availability. He's 22 y/o.

Add to that that he makes AWB look like 08/09 Ronaldo and you could say I'm not a fan of this transfer, especially for 40m.

He has all the talent to become a world beater under the right coaching, which Arteta is perfect to provide him with.

However, his injuries are a genuine concern, he absolutely can't have another season like this.

Would be useful to have on the bench against PSG but it is what is.

Which is another Tomi situation

My favorite thing about this thread is that all of his haters have his undone shirt photos saved on their phones while, I, his biggest champion, do not have any. When you're this good looking, you don't need reminders. Makes you think.

I really just hate the fact he's never available, same bracket as Tomi imo. Good players on their day, but can't be trusted and never get a run to show their worth.

I'm willing to give him some time before I compare him to Tomi. He's young and in a more physical league now. I'll chalk it up to growing pains unless it becomes a seasonal thing with multiple months out.

Wtf going on with this guy. He got injured a month and a half ago.... Arteta said he is hopeful he will be back a bit before PSG.

Arsenal Quotes

I knew we were very different, that he (Ferguson) had a total hold over his club while at that time I was still more of a coach. I also recognised his huge qualities. He knew how to surround himself with the right people and didn't rest on his laurels when he was successful.
