It's difficult to put your finger on exactly what is is about him but he just makes things happen. You can live with the questionable defensive awareness because he adds something we really don't have in the attack when he's not out there. Arteta does have to have a little re-think about how to better cover the space he leaves for counters when he gets forward but this kid is a difference maker.

Its not difficult at all

- His passing is crisp, incisive, and a quick release, he doesn't slow down play.
- After he passes, he moves, offering a combination.
- He goes forward with intent
- He has a great awareness of space
- He's a master at deceit, shimmies, to gain an extra second and throw defenders off balance.
- He has an eye for goal
- He's very composed
- He plays with minimal touches and has a good sense of tempo.

Yes but we have other players who possess at least some of those qualities who simply don't express them the way that he does. It think his mentality is key, despite his obvious ability.

Reminds me of Beckenbauer although I never seen Beckenbauer play.

i really cannot believe it calafiori said like this, what the hell man pure humble and not cry baby, wow this guy really deserved major trophy and stay fit,

he is really really good when going forward and he can way better than xhaka especially he still very young, i really missed granit xhaka very rare player who perfect play at lcm role like him only calafiori who close with xhaka attributes

He ops started crying because his wife didn’t see him play, yet he doesn’t want to leave

What a man child

Currently the sauciest player in the squad and he is a defender. Thouhgt it was a good decision by Arteta to start him at OT though I thought he would opt for MLS for his defence.

He has personality and wants to make a difference which is quality we lack big time. It's refreshing... sometimes you forget it exists when you watch a team who rather pass sideways. Not the type to endere himself by running around more than anyone else.

At the minute I wouldn't say he is any better defending or going forward than MLS despite stature differences and being a more experianced player. People are waxing him hard just like last season but he needs a Gabriel level transformation defensively/to stay fit or he'll be another footnote.

I think the position switch is obvious and very simple. Nelli to LB and Cala to LW. Nelli can match Nuno Mendes in stamina and pace. Cala has composure and final product Nelli will never possess.

Need to bring in Ospina as a coach to teach him how to fall and only pretend to get injured without actually getting injured.

He was touching his thigh when he got subbed according to the Brazilian reporter in the ground.

Rotation will be key in getting him to a point where his body is more resilient.

Arsenal Quotes

I believe one of the best things about managing people is that we can influence lives in a positive way. That’s basically what a manager is about. When I can do that, I am very happy.
