Very well deserved nomination.

He's a classy player, unique skillset in many ways.

Ability anyone can see he's that in abundance, will he ever stay injury free for decent periods? History sadly says no, really would love to see him be fit for say even 30 PL games.

It's the issue that held many quality players back over time.

Could be the first ever Italian player to win the Premiership player of the month for us, good luck Ricky.

Still think Emiliano Viviano was robbed back in the day though!

Yeah, good for him. Deserves the recognition.

Grealish probably deserves the award, which is something I can't believe I'm saying - fully expected a Raheem Sterling-style faceplant from him in Everton after looking totally useless for 2-3 years. Instead he has totally changed the entire dynamic of that Everton team.

I like Grealish as a player. He’s clearly a bit of a thicko and not the most professional one out there but he’s exciting to watch with his flair and dribbling ability. Bit of a strange signing by Pep and clearly one that would have next to no chance of surviving Arteta.

Yeah, throwback player who isn't a fit at all at a top team the way they play nowadays.

Loved the entertainment value when he came up with Villa, hated the constant diving and theatrics.

Thought he was just totally done at this point. And thought Everton were going to be in a relegation battle after watching their first game. But he's just totally changed their fortunes almost instantly and they looked like a totally different team their last two games.

It was actually a big scandal of sorts how a big English club could come in and steal a young defender of that quality that every big club there had in wishlist. I mean we financially muscled Italian big boys and the player was eager to ditch Italy. If I was Serie A fan I would be furious to

I poo poo'd the links for ages because I just assumed that for sure he'd stay in Serie A. I can't recall that level of talent leaving Italy for England of all places at that age.

Not really a strange signing, he did his job, got them a treble.

Just a loss for the sport that Pep converted such a fun player into a functional tool. Shouldn't be surprised that as soon as he left Pep he's showing that spark back, but I also lost faith on him believing he was too good for Pep to ruin.

This mofo is just a top class footballer. In our system he will get done sometimes by pacy wingers. But he’s overall better footballer than most of our midfielders like rice, Zubimendi and nordgaard

That is crazy numbers for a left sided defender. When he plays for Italy he always looks like one of their most dangerous players in attack. Yes he can get done by a winger but other than a couple of times that he recovered he pretty much kept best RW in world under wraps on the road. He isn’t poor defensively either and doesn’t try to hide or back off defensively either. He is aggressive both sides of ball you will get done that way on occasion

Doesn’t happen really especially for defenders wanted by big clubs in Italy

Juventus just sold a 22 y/o defender who has been called up to Italy for these international games to Forest of all teams. Serie A is a shambles right now.

Look extremely sharp and I'm glad Mikel not taking risks to leave him for 90 minutes at games where we 2/3 up he too important for us specially when build up play
