Everyone is frustrated with him now but when he scores a winner at the Etihad because he's totally unphased, everyone will remember why you put up with the injuries.

As much as I like him as a LB and how he unlocks the left side, I believe he will never be fit enough to endure a whole season there. His natural position is LCB where he can still create his magic, breaking lines, bombarding forward, etc.

AM with a completely sane and rational reaction despite having no information on said injury.

I mean, it's more due to his body of work (or lack thereof).

I get that being a left back for Arsenal is an occupational hazard, with all the players in recent times basically keeling over as soon as they're signed, but it doesn't matter how amazing he is if he can't be available consistently.

Tactically, it's even worse, since as long as he is at the club, Arteta will keep trying to make other players play like him and the guy really is a unicorn of a player.

I really like Hincapie, but there's no point trying to make him into a light version of this beautiful bastard.

This is very nit picky but the shot was going straight at him. He tried to be clever and divert it out I think and ended up scoring an own goal.

Imagine if the title race comes down to that 😭

Arsenal Quotes

Arsenal was firmly embedded in the local community and had a very solid, working-class foundations. The fans espoused the club's values. This visceral attachment, from childhood, to a club and a team is something I have never seen anywhere else with such fervour. Every fan's first match at Highbury was like a baptism.
