Personally I don’t believe these rumours too much as it sounds all agent based and Bologna also wanting a bigger fee, and I can’t lie, this player is hyped because of euros and I don’t think this would be a wise transfer at all.

He’s a 1 season in a top league as first choice only playing 30 games, he lacks a ton of experience in this regard and yeah he’s looked good in the Euros but we see this all the time with players who don’t translate after. Add on his fee being inflated due to this and also the 50% clause it’s too much money.

Also wait till you look into this guys injury record, it’s atrocious and we’d end up having the same issues we have with Tomi and Zinny.

I think there’s better out there and I think we need a completely different profile or the actual finished article.

I’d much prefer Schlotterbeck if Kiwi goes or one of the Hernandez bros.

We need a midfielder forward and attacking full back instead we're looking at CBs again. They should make Arteta the secretary general of NATO, guy blows 50% of his annual budget on defence every year.

Like I was told on the main thread, this guys mainly a LB/LCB. Which is how we play, he would probably fit perfectly in our system.

We are also capable of working on multiple things at a time.

47m? He’d have probably been half that before the Euros lol

Regardless of whether he’s good or not, I’m not excited by this transfer as we’re stocked up in defence and need attacking options.

You know that we are going to sign attackers, so signing another player because it’s an opportunistic deal shouldn’t matter.

He'll get eaten alive in the PL. And that's aside from the fact that, 3 m9nths in, he'll be making doe eyes at Juve in a not-so-subtle come & get me plea.

Lets spare ourselves the Pagliacci opera & nix this idea.

Actually like the guy. Think he is better version of Kiwior.

If we sell Tierney & Tavares and might even sell Zinny or Kiwior, I would love to get this guy. But not more then 40 million ffs.

Can play LCB and LB. Is better on the ball & going forward then Kiwior

Don't want you guys end up disappointed but he'll be Juve player few factors favor them his ex manager who made him who he is want him. A move to top Italian club It's similar to what happened with Locatelli.

Attacking wise, Califiori and Timber give us runs from deep. Califiori also allows us to preserve Ben White more.

Defensively though, I dont know. I suppose our rest defense is well set up to mask any potential issues, but we still need to see him more in 1v1 situations.

Ideally you dont want to lose too much defensively, particularly if you are defending out wide where we give away more space.

Bologna will likely be forced to accept less that what we could offer because the player want to stay in Italy loan plus 40M€ obligation likely the outcome

Arsenal Quotes

Arsenal is in my blood as well as my heart. I will always, always, always remember you guys. I said I was going to be a Gooner for life and I did not lie because when you are a Gooner, you will always be a Gooner. This club is in my heart and will remain in my heart forever.
