What's with the expectation that Madrid might not take him to the Club World Cup? It's his first chance to impress Alonso directly.

See this dragging non for a month like zubi
If it means it plays out like with Zubi then I’d be VERY happy. Cause it would mean we actually sign him.

Right now I think it’s less likely than we sign Rodrygo at all than him staying at Madrid.
That’s just reality right now unless we get some news that changes things.

Yeah the new glory supporters are even more global, due to more access to the EPL. When i was a kid, most other kids i knew were utd or pool fans and leeds fans due to our area. Nowadays they are City, Real or Bayern fans ffs. I see more Chelsea than City shirts and i live up north. We need to win things!!
So we can get more glory supporters as you say?

I mean I want to win things obviously. But not for that reason.

Stoke once signed Bojan so there is at least a slight chance the tanned Tony Pulis can bring him to The Arsenal!

First Madrid session for Alonso is today, Rodrygo expected back so I would expect something this week, especially with the CWC coming.

I think he will end up going, it may work in our favour if he doesn't get minutes in his desired position.

You need to build your fanbase outside the local area. This is how you do it, we have missed a whole generation of fans, due to it.

Exactly, my younger cousin who just started watching football in the 2010s doesn't know where Arsenal even is.

We need to start winning the major trophies again in order to get fans from exotic places like Northern Ireland once more!

Exaclty alot of fans dont see the bigger picture. City were nothing before Oil money and Chelsea were a cup team prior to Roman. Yes we had a stadium to build and pay for, but now is the time to put winning before Profit.
