How does this squad make sense to perform that level against Argentina? Most of their players are bit part players for even their own farmer club. They have one decent player playing at Villarreal, 2 not too bad players at Trabzonspor. The rest are nonsense. Their coach must be something else.

There are worse squads in the world cup that you showed. I would say at least 6-7 at minimum. A lot of teams like Iran, Iraq and Saudi only have a few European based players. And Saudi beat Argentina last world cup and Australia with an inferior squad than CV last world cup (our lead striker played in japanese 2nd division ffs) took the game equally to Argentina in round 16.

They performed really well and above their level but footballistically this is not that much of an outlier. This is all emotional.
