Sambi Lokonga: Sam Be the Man in Midfield?

Problem with Lokonga is not what he does when but what he doesn`t do. When he is involved it is usually in a positive way. Had some lovely moments, passes and turns against LIverpool last night. He just needs to impose himself a lot more on games. Strolls around too much, is rarely first to second balls and doesn`t use the fact that the he`s is actually quite athletic.
Nail on the head. Think he suits a midtable side more than an elite one.

Sure but at a top team you have to produce when you get the chance.
I'm all for giving a younger player the opportunity but you only have to see the total meltdown on here if Eddie/Sambi/Fabio etc get a chance & don't put in a top level performance.

The point is that he does produce a when he’s given a decent chance (Eddie). His goal scoring rates when he starts are excellent for example.
