Hell ya. If we get Rabiot too we'd have a nice French core down the middle.

With laca here getting him will be easier. the only problem here i think barca will ask for 40-50M unless we got high budget i dont know how we'll afford to get him.

Tir Na Nog In Big Trouble If He Speaks

Remember when Van Persie was "injury prone" then all of a sudden had about 2 years of uninterrupted football earning PFA player of the year for Arsenal, as well as top scorer and then basically won United the league and had an excellent world cup for Holland.

I'm sure people at the club will know if it's too much of a risk or not.

If Arsenal can be convinced of his long-term health, there wouldn't be a better option to immediately take the level of play in the back line up a notch. Perfect for playing the ball out of the back.

Possibly 50 million for both Umtiti and Rabiot add Brandt for another 27

77 million for 3 players in key areas?

Where do I hand my CV in at Arsenal?

I'm not hiring you until you get a left back as well. :D

Apparently Umitti could be available for £30m.

Yeah true prognosis wasn’t great a while back but surely the club wouldn’t go through with it if it was that bad?

Knee problems at 25 are a big red flag though, we saw last summer with Fekir that clubs aren't willing to take the financial risk.

Yeah if we signed him and he turned out like a Badstuber that would be a disaster for us.

Wouldn't put it past us, tbh. I'd rather have a medical at Dignitas then Arsenal.

This sounds to me like one of those transfers which happen when Barcelona have sucked a player dry, need money desperately to upgrade and get some wannabe sucker to pay for their upgrade. Thus ensuring the lord stays in his manor and the peasants in the fields.

He sounds like Phil Jones 2.0 injury wise. His status as a world class player means nothing if he's only sporadically in the team.

Avoid him like the plague & throw the £30m at Leipzig for Konate.

Really don't want us to sign anyone with even a question over their fitness. We don't have the financial wiggle room

Top level defender but he wouldn't have a VVD level influence here. Given the risk around his knee's health, I'd go for another option. If we're really rebuilding, we should be looking for the best options aged 24 and below.

Exactly. I do not trust Barcelona one bit. Why sell him?

Buy Konate and Kelly, loan Mavropanos and keep Koscielny as emergency cover for a year. Sell Monreal and buy a starting left back. Then either promote a Right back or buy one.
