[Yousif Arsenal]

Villa owners get some sort of funding from the middle east.

Never knew thier owner is from middle east thought he from Egypt. Make sense now why they siding with them

Why villa are becoming man city boyfriend suddenly?

Abu Dhabi’s sovereign wealth fund Mubadala (whose CEO is Man City chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak) has just invested £2.3bn into Wes Eden’s (Aston Villa’s co-owner) investment fund.

As far as Villa is concerned:

Aston Villa chief Nassef Sawiris says his club will join Manchester City in voting against the proposed changes to APT rules this week.

Aston Villa owner releases statement ahead of Man City financial rules showdown

Sawiris is richest Egyptian.
Villa is with City.

Bit late really. They used this to build themselves up, now they're in a position where they can actually get real sponsors for good money.

still good move to stop teams with oil money like Newcastle to cheat their way to the top. because if they allow that everyone gonna do that and PL will lose all the trust and already not many people trust them.

[Riou]

Seeing a lot of City and Newcastle fans calling us the Red Cartel or Crooked Cartel, lol.

Yes lads, you are definitely not the evil ones here

The 115 case ended on Friday so now we await the decision of the panel.

I wouldn't get my hopes up, we all know they'll either be found NOT guilty or if found guilty, just the smallest fine for them. They'll never be stripped of their titles or be relegated out of the PL unfortunately.

I read appeals could delay any result until after next season

This is not UEFA. PL better make an example of them with a more harsh punishment to avoid any cheaters in the future.

Don't get your hopes too high mate.

I hate to say it mate but we all know Man City somehow always find their way out of something, anything unfortunately. Any other club would struggle but not Man City haha.

Depends what sticks. They;'ll definitely be found guilty of obstructing the investigation, so thats at least a big fine, possible a handful of points. If anything else sticks, they are in trouble in real way

[Grandolph]

I hope their reputation will be destroyed forever after this, but doesnt seem like the next generation of fans really care about how a club is being run and achieve their goals.
These takeovers should have been dealt with properly at the beginning, but PL, media and fans just got too greedy for money and success.
